Chapter 51 Hua Motian is the former owner of the Spirit Jade

"Hey, are you alright?" Seeing his pained expression, Wan'er bent down and patted his shoulder.

As Wan'er bent over, a piece of jade popped out from under her neck with a "poof!"

At the same time, a blue light flashed, and with a "whoosh!" sound, the man's figure had already disappeared when Wan'er looked closely. It was as if he had vanished into thin air.

Straightening up, Wan'er burst into tears. She looked up at the sky and shouted, "Hey, where are you? I still have questions for you. Where is my little prince?"

Wan'er shouted loudly to her surroundings, but the only response she received was the whooshing sound of the wind.

“Girl! Your little prince will return.” A warm, aged voice came from behind.

Wan'er turned around, her vision blurred by tears. Two meters away, an old man with a full head of silver-white curly hair, white eyebrows and a white beard, dressed in a close-fitting white shirt, and dressed somewhat similarly to the man from before, was standing there.

A faint white light emanated from the old man, who stood tall and straight, leaning on a silver cane, and looked at Wan'er with kind eyes.

"Grandpa, what did you say?" Wan'er raised her sleeve, wiped away her tears, and asked carefully.

“Young lady, I said Blue Cat is out of danger and on his way back.” The old man nodded, his slightly narrowed eyes seemingly also scrutinizing Wan’er.

"Really? That's wonderful." Despite the old man's strange appearance, for some reason, Wan'er believed everything he said. Overjoyed, she almost jumped for joy.

"Of course, I wouldn't lie to you," the old man nodded with a half-smile, "but I'd like to ask, were you looking for Hua Motian just now?"

The girl before him was full of spiritual energy and exceptionally beautiful. She was indeed worthy of my Mo'er! As the old man looked at Wan'er, his squinting eyes seemed to be faintly shining.

"Hua, Mo Tian?" Wan'er was taken aback, her eyes flickered, and suddenly she thought of something. "You mean, the man just now was named Hua Mo Tian?"

"Yes! He is my grandson." The old man sighed softly, stroked his beard, and shook his head. "But this child has an unusual fate, destined to have a life full of hardships. He has suffered greatly at such a young age, and now he has been framed by villains. It is truly worrying!"

“Your grandson, your grandson! You said he…” Looking at the old man’s face, he did indeed resemble the man from before. So his name was Hua Motian. Recalling the man’s pained expression as he clutched his head, Wan’er felt a pang in her heart. “He was in trouble? Then just now he…”

She wanted to ask him where he had gone, but since it was their first meeting, she hesitated to speak. Wan'er lowered her head shyly, and glimmers of starlight appeared where her neck swayed.

“Yes, young lady, that was just a wisp of his soul, attached to this protective jade, which is why he can’t remember who he is…” The old man sighed again, his gaze falling on Wan’er’s neck. Suddenly, he raised his left hand, spread his five fingers, and rotated it halfway around Wan’er’s neck. A strange light appeared, carrying the jade into the air. The old man’s eyes narrowed, and he said, word by word, “To be precise, he was the former owner of this protective jade.”

"Former master?" This was a lot of information. Wan'er shook her head, then nodded. No wonder he was so aggressive earlier; it turned out…

"So, young lady, his questioning of you just now, using the spirit jade, was simply out of love for the cat. Don't take it to heart." The old man said, slowly retracting his outstretched fingers, and the spirit jade returned to Wan'er's collar...
