Chapter 50 Wan'er is insulted

Wan'er was already a rare beauty, and at this moment, she was even more charming, with a kind of amazed yet endearing charm that was hard to describe.

As Wan'er looked at the man, the man was also looking at her.

"Have you seen enough?" Seeing her blank expression, the man was taken aback at first, then broke the silence and curled the left corner of his mouth.

"Do we...know each other?" Her pretty face flushed red, Wan'er blinked, swallowed hard, and then came to her senses a little.

The other person was too handsome, and his handsomeness carried an aura of domineering power that made people afraid to look directly at him. Wan'er found it difficult to breathe, and her heart inexplicably raced.

"Ah!" In that moment of distraction, she took a step back, lost her balance, and fell backward, her hands already raised in the air...

Just then, a strong hand reached around from under her right armpit and firmly supported her lower back.

Leaning back, Wan'er breathed a sigh of relief. She stood up and looked up to see that face again. Their eyes met, and two electric currents struck them instantly.

After a brief moment of stunned silence...

"Have you seen a blue cat? He..." Wan'er hesitated for a moment, her voice trembling slightly as she spoke.

"Your little prince? That's why I'm here." Before she could finish speaking, the man in blue interrupted her, calling out the little prince's name directly.

"You know the Little Prince?" Wan'er blinked in surprise.

"Of course I know him, but he told me you're a heartless woman." The man's smile faded, and he lowered his head, his eyes filled with resentment that sent chills down Wan'er's spine.

Wan'er shrank her neck involuntarily, and tried to break free from his embrace, but his arms were as tight as iron clamps around her, and for a moment, Wan'er was unable to get up.

“No, the Little Prince wouldn’t think that way.” Wan’er shook her head, tears welling in her eyes. At this moment, her longing intensified as she recalled the sweet times she had spent with the Little Prince, and the mutual dependence they shared…

"Oh? What do you think he'll think? Stupid woman! You're a murderer! You fed him unclean things and handed him over to a bad person when he was weak all over, almost causing his death." The man's eyes flashed coldly, and he almost gritted his teeth. "You can't even tell good from bad. That woman wasn't its owner at all."

What? He ate something bad and then gave it to a bad person? How could this happen? For a moment, Wan'er ignored the man's insults, feeling guilty and more concerned about the little prince's situation.

No, what he said isn't true; he's a bad person. Who is he? But why do I feel even more uneasy after hearing his words?

But his expression was serious, not like he was lying. Should I...should I believe him? Wan'er's gaze darkened, and the image of that jade piece flashed through her mind...

"Wait, wait! I need to get this straight. When did you feed him something unclean? How did you know? Who are you?" As she asked these questions, Wan'er's throat tightened, her brows furrowed, and her heart ached. She straightened up, forcefully breaking free from his grasp, and steadied herself. She reached out and grabbed his collar, but tears welled up in her eyes uncontrollably.

Seeing Wan'er's tears, the man's expression strangely softened a little.

"Okay, then I'll tell you. Listen carefully. I, I..." The man's eyes flashed with blue light, his gaze fixed, as if he was thinking about something.

"Who am I? Who am I?" The next second, as if struck by lightning, the man suddenly shuddered, raised his hands to cover his head, and squatted down on the ground. His eyes were filled with panic and confusion—Who am I? Why can't I remember?
