Chapter 53 Su Mei faints, Blue Cat returns

"Wan'er, Wan'er..." Su Mei turned around and placed the porridge in her hand on the bedside table.

"Hmph!" Su Mei turned around, a strange and terrifying smile spreading across her face. "Looks like the thin porridge I've been using these past two days has worked..."

With a sharp look in her eyes, Su Mei stood behind Wan'er, raised her hand and drew a half-circle to the right. A black mist appeared in her palm, and her fingernails turned black as well...

At this moment, Su Mei seemed a little nervous. She didn't even notice that a fluorescent light was appearing around Wan'er.

Wan'er, don't blame me. Qianfo made me do this. He said you are very likely a princess of the Water Tribe. Although I don't know what the Water Tribe is, I must complete the task Qianfo assigned.

Su Mei's fingertips were about to reach for Wan'er's nape...

"Meimei!" Wan'er suddenly turned around, her clear eyes looking at Su Mei, "Your hand..."

"You, you're not, you're alright?" This shock almost made Su Mei's heart and soul tremble. Her face turned deathly pale, and she took two steps back, momentarily forgetting to retract her hand.

"What could possibly be wrong with me?" Su Mei, on the other hand, had a strange look in her eyes, and a faint black aura emanated from her body, which made people suspicious.

Just then, a strange buzzing sound appeared, and countless tiny starlight burst forth from Wan'er's neck, piercing towards Su Mei's palm...

"Ah!" Su Mei suddenly screamed, her head thrown back, as if she had been struck by something and trapped, only able to stay in place in pain, twisting her body repeatedly...

A few seconds later, a dull thud was heard, and Su Mei fell heavily to the side...

Wisps of black energy emanated from Su Mei's body, and soon the starlight disappeared, and the room returned to calm.

Staring at all this in astonishment, Wan'er thought she was still dreaming for a few seconds.

"Su Mei, Mei Mei! What's wrong with you?" Wan'er only realized what was happening when her gaze fell on the ground. She rushed to Su Mei, squatted down, and reached out to help her up. "Wake up, wake up!"

However, no matter how Wan'er shouted, Su Mei remained pale-faced, her eyes closed, and she did not respond at all.

Wan'er reached out to check her breathing. Fortunately, she was still breathing; it seemed she had only fainted.

Why did I suddenly faint? I was distracted for a moment and thought I heard her say something. I didn't expect this to happen when I turned around.

Wan'er sighed softly, and with great effort helped her to lie down on the bed. She then examined her body and found that apart from redness and swelling on her elbows and some bending of her fingers, there were no other injuries.

Although his breathing was weak and his pulse was pounding, overall he did not seem to have any major problems.

"Let's take you to the hospital." Wan'er stood by the bed, picked up her phone and dialed a number. "Hello! Yes, please come over as soon as possible..."

Taking advantage of the break, Wan'er quickly packed her things and waited in the living room.

About ten minutes later, "Beep beep!" came the sound of an ambulance siren from downstairs.

"Meow!" However, as soon as Wan'er opened the door, a small figure appeared in the doorway.

"Little Prince, it's you!" Unable to believe her eyes, Wan'er happily knelt down, reached out one arm to hug him, and stroked his little head with the other. She stood up, and without realizing it, Wan'er's eyes welled up with tears. "It really is you! That's wonderful, that's wonderful!"

Footsteps echoed on the stairs.

A moment later, a boy in a white coat and a nurse in a white coat appeared at the corner of the stairs...
