Chapter 54 Don't let anyone see you

"Go inside and hide, don't let anyone see you." Wan'er quickly turned around, bent down and put the blue cat down, while whispering the instruction.

As the saying goes, experience is the best teacher. The Little Prince's blue fur is too unusual; it's better not to let anyone know.

"Wan'er, you've finally come to your senses." The little prince glanced back at Wan'er, then turned and leaped across the living room, disappearing into the study through the crack in the door...

"Wan'er, what's going on?" A slender young male doctor, around 30 years old, looked up at Wan'er as he approached the door, without stopping.

"Thump thump thump!" At the corner behind him, a nurse and a middle-aged driver in a blue uniform followed closely.

At the very back, the driver was carrying a folding stretcher.

“She suddenly fainted. I did a quick check, but I couldn’t find the cause.” Wan’er shook her head, stepped aside into the doorway, and made way for her. “Inside…”

The three entered one after the other. When the male doctor in the white coat reached the middle of the living room, he suddenly stopped, turned his head to look at Wan'er beside him, and his eyes behind his glasses were somewhat unpredictable.

"You two chat for a bit, we'll go take a look first." The nurse walked around to the side and stepped inside...

"Is something the matter, Dr. Liu?" Wan'er also stopped, somewhat surprised.

"I," Dr. Liu opened her mouth, then quickly closed it again, finally taking a deep breath before speaking, "I just want to ask you, you haven't answered my calls these past two days, and you keep taking leave, what have you been up to?"

The tone seemed a little awkward, and Wan'er looked at Dr. Liu with surprise. Not daring to meet Wan'er's gaze, Dr. Liu uneasily raised his right hand and adjusted his glasses.

"Let's see her first, we can talk about other things later." Wan'er withdrew her gaze, shook her head, and was about to step forward.

"No, I won't be at ease until you tell me." Just then, Dr. Liu's eyes sharpened, and he reached out and grabbed Wan'er.

"What does this have to do with you?" Wan'er was enraged. She twisted her body, forcefully pushed him away, and strode inside. "The one who's unconscious now, no, I'm my friend!"

Wan'er stormed into the bedroom.

Dr. Liu was taken aback, his face turning somewhat embarrassed. In the end, he had no choice but to follow her into the room. After examining Su Mei again, he breathed a sigh of relief, "There's really nothing wrong on the surface, but we'll have to do some more in-depth examinations. There shouldn't be any other dangers at the moment."

After he finished speaking, Wan'er didn't say anything. She just walked to the other side of the bed and helped the nurse carefully lift Su Mei onto the soft stretcher...

"Please take care of her for me, thank you." Wan'er said as she put Su Mei into the ambulance.

"Head Nurse, aren't you coming with us?" The senior nurse asked Wan'er from the other side of the stretcher.

"No, I have something to do. I'll be right there. You guys go ahead. Remember to give her a full check-up as soon as possible."

"Okay," the nurse replied, getting up to close the car door.

As soon as the ambulance drove away, Wan'er quickly turned around and ran back home down the stairs.

Pushing open the door, the little prince was sitting on the sofa. Hearing the door open, he turned around and stared blankly at Wan'er as she walked in. Wan'er was also looking at him.

As she approached the sofa, Wan'er stretched out her arms to the little prince.

"Meow!" The little prince, understanding perfectly, shook his whiskers, raised his front paws, and leaped into Wan'er's arms, resting his little head affectionately against her chest...
