Qin Jixiang lowered her head in shame. Xu Zhaoyue watched her actions without saying anything, after all, she had already tried her best to press on the pain in her wound.
"Hey! Are you two alright?" Kim Bok-joo's voice came to their rescue. "Qin... Qin something, are you okay? You were so brave just now, you went straight up there."
Jin Fuzhu ran up to Xu Zhaoyue and gave her a thumbs up, saying, "Wow, you're amazing! I admire you so much!"
Before Xu Zhaoyue could respond, Qin Jixiang couldn't contain herself any longer. "Her name is Qin Jijin, something about Qin something. You can't even remember her name and you still admire her?" Qin Jixiang had now completely accepted Xu Zhaoyue's identity.
"You... I won't argue with you." Kim Bok-joo looked at the two disheveled people, opened her mouth but ultimately didn't start a fight with them.
When they returned, Jin Fuyuan and the others also came over. "How are you all? Fuzhu?" Jin Fuyuan was relieved to see that all three of them were alright, and then focused on asking about her younger sister.
"Sister, I'm fine. She's amazing! Qin Jixiang's horse got spooked just now, and she was the one who saved him. Her hands were bleeding from the effort." Jin Fuzhu quickly told Jin Fuyuan about this exciting incident.
"Ah, you're injured?" Qin Jizhong looked at Xu Zhaoyue and quickly noticed her bandaged hand.
Qin Jixiang didn't want to embarrass herself here, so she grabbed Xu Zhaoyue and ran away, saying, "What time is it to be chatting? Come on, let's go back and change our clothes." Since the person in question had run away so quickly, there was no need for the others to stay.
When Xu Zhaoyue and Qin Jixiang returned, Grandma Qin was shocked to see them. She first made her take a bath, and then called the doctor to apply medicine to her.
The cause of the injury was explained, but Grandma Qin already knew that they had gone out to play and the problem arose from a moment of excitement during the competition. Xu Zhaoyue had already told Cuicui before she went out.
This incident didn't cause any trouble. Everyone went home and processed it, and when they met again, they greeted each other with smiles. However, because of this incident, Xu Zhaoyue became the second eldest sister in the family.
According to Qin Jixiang, it was Xu Zhaoyue who saved her, and she was better than all of her younger brothers, but she couldn't bring herself to let Qin Jixiang be the eldest sister, so Xu Zhaoyue became the second sister.
After this experience, the Qin family's attitude towards Xu Zhaoyue changed completely. Originally, the elders ignored her, but the younger generation was somewhat unconvinced.
But Qin Jixiang already treats Xu Zhaoyue as family, and Xu Zhaoyue's treatment is much better than what was previously agreed upon.
The Spring Festival is here.
Yue Lanxing stood on the attic watching the snowflakes falling outside until Yue Mingze called him, at which point he came downstairs.
"Hey, we're leaving soon, aren't you coming back with us?" Yue Mingze asked. Yue Lanxing shook her head, "No, I'll wait a while."
"Oh my, you really are... never mind, why should I worry about you? My dad said you're even more capable than your older brother. You've managed most of the company here in just a few months."
Yes, in less than half a year, Yue Wenxing has handed over most of the businesses in Shanghai to Yue Lanxing. In fact, Yue Minghao and Yue Mingze have also been learning along the way, with Yue Mingze being forced to improve.
All three of them studied, but only Yue Lanxing clearly stated that he wanted to stay in Shanghai, so when the main Yue family group returned, all the companies were handed over to him.
"You can stay, and you'll get half of the company's affairs." Yue Lanxing wasn't particularly happy.
Yue Mingze quickly waved his hand, "No way! I don't want to stare at those reports every day. Let the ambitious ones do it." To express his unwillingness, he even took a few steps back.
"Haha." Yue Lanxing rarely laughed. "Then why don't you take advantage of these two days to have some fun? When you go back, you'll have to start from scratch at the company in Beijing. Don't think you can escape it."
“You’re right.” Yue Mingze clapped his hands in understanding. “I should enjoy life to the fullest. I’m going to go find He Kaiyuan to play right now.” With that, he ran off.
Then Yue Lanxing buried himself in the documents again. He needed to make plans for the next year for six companies. These documents did not need to be shown to the company staff, but he needed to consult his uncle.
When Yue Mingze found He Kaiyuan, Xu Zhaohao was also at his house. "What are you doing here?" Yue Mingze asked as he entered, seeing the two of them chatting and laughing, which made him feel like a spoilsport.
"Hey, I had someone open the door for you to come in, and you don't appreciate my kindness." Xu Zhaohao was in a good mood, but Yue Mingze's question made him feel very uncomfortable.
"Okay, okay, I was wrong. If you're angry, go ahead and hit He Kaiyuan to vent your anger." Yue Mingze casually sat down on a chair.
"What's it to me? Tell me, what are you doing here?" He Kaiyuan didn't say a word the whole time, but for some reason he wanted to take his anger out on Yue Mingze. He was angry at Yue Mingze's nonchalant attitude.
Yue Mingze shook his head, feigning profundity. "You don't understand. I'm going back to Beijing soon. After the New Year, I'll have to go back to the company." As soon as he finished speaking, he remembered that the two people in front of him were already at odds.
Xu Zhaohao and He Kaiyuan are both still in school, but Xu Zhaohao has transferred to He Kaiyuan's class. Xu Zhaohao is being forced to study, while He Kaiyuan has quickly taken over a small company and started working.
In short, the two of them were much more tired than Yue Mingze.
Two days passed quickly. Yue Lanxing stood at the door to see them off, then turned around and got into his car and went to the company.
"What? You have a problem with my decision?" Yue Lanxing tapped his gloved hand on the table, the dull sound echoing throughout the quiet room.
Yue Lanxing looked at the two rows of people on either side of the long table who were bowing their heads in silence. "Since no one is going to say anything, then there's no need to say anything. Just follow my instructions. If you still have any questions, go to the HR department to resign."
