"Tanghulu, Tanghulu, one penny a bunch"
Seeing Tian An selling candied haws nearby, he pulled Da Niu and said, "Brother Da Niu, let's go buy two bunches! Xiao Kang isn't here, so we have to bring one back for him."
Da Niu looked at Tian An and then at the candied haws seller before saying, "Buy some for Xiaokang and yourself! I don't eat this kind of children's food."
Tian An didn't care! He pulled him over to the candied haws stall.
"Uncle, give me three strings of candied haws!"
"Two skewers will be enough," said Da Niu, and he took out two copper coins and gave them to the vendor.
Although the vendor felt a little disappointed, he happily took the money and picked up two strings of candied haws and handed them to Tian An.
"Girl, take it!"
Tian An took the candied haws and ate one. It was the first time in my life that I had ever eaten a candied haws. It tasted quite good, the sweet coating enveloping the red fruit. It was sour and sweet, really delicious. No wonder the kids loved it so much.
Da Niu is still a child, and he actually said he doesn’t like it. Why don’t I believe it?
Tian An rolled his eyes, suddenly grabbed Daniu and called out "Brother Daniu".
Da Niu turned around and was about to ask Tian An what was wrong, but Tian An stuffed a candied haws into his mouth.
Then she looked at him and smiled before saying, "I just wanted to say that candied haws are really delicious. Why don't you have one too?"
What could he do? He had already taken a bite, so he had no choice but to finish it. His face was stinky, but his heart was happy.
Actually, Daniu used to love eating candied haws, and he would buy them every time he went to the market. But later he got too embarrassed to eat them because of his age, and his parents had passed away. Life was difficult, and he felt sad, so he no longer had the heart to do so.
After all, no child can refuse candied haws, candied haws are every child’s childhood!
