The two continued eating and picking at their own food without exchanging a single word. The atmosphere suddenly became strangely awkward.
Su Tiyue thought for a moment and then broke the awkward silence: "Is there some happy occasion in the palace? Why would they suddenly hold a banquet, and... it sounds quite grand." Xiao Heye seemed to have mentioned earlier that there would be many people coming and going in the palace tomorrow night, and Li Xun's serious demeanor just now indicated that this banquet was quite important.
