Chapter 249 Breakup
At night, the two returned to the apartment.
After taking a shower, Su Qianqian sat on the sofa in the living room.
She didn't read the script or book as usual, but just sat quietly, as if waiting for something.
Gu Chengyu washed off the restlessness from the banquet, came out and saw her sitting in the living room, and stopped in his tracks.
"Are you still awake?" He walked over, his tone normal, but with a hint of uneasiness and temptation.
Su Qianqian raised her head, looked at him with her moist almond eyes, and said in a firm voice: "Ayu, let's talk."
Gu Chengyu's heart sank suddenly.

Gu Chengyu almost thought he had misheard. He stared at her, his eyes darkening, a storm brewing: "What did you say? Say it again."
"I say, let's break up." Su Qianqian repeated, her voice still soft but serious.
"You should have sensed these days that my love for you isn't that deep."
Gu Chengyu's expression instantly turned extremely ugly, his jawline tensed: "Su Qianqian, do you know what you are talking about?"
"I know." She met his gaze, her eyes clear and honest, even apologetic.
"I approached you in the beginning because I had no one to rely on and was being framed. I could only desperately cling to you, the most powerful piece of driftwood."
"I'm sorry for taking advantage of your protection and favor."
She paused, her voice softening as if reminiscing, "For nearly a year, you've been so good to me. I'm not hard-hearted, and occasionally my heart flutters. I also think that being pampered by you like this all the time doesn't seem so bad."
Gu Chengyu's breathing became heavier, and he almost gritted his teeth and asked, "Then why now?"

"Su Qianqian! Do you have a heart?!"
"I've been so fucking devoted to you! And you're breaking up with me just because of some trivial shit? What do you think of me?!"
He swung his hand violently, sweeping everything on the coffee table to the ground, and the glass cups made a sharp shattering sound.
Then came the vases, the ornaments... He seemed to be out of control, smashing everything within his reach to the ground!
In an instant, the originally luxurious and tidy living room was in a mess, with debris scattered everywhere.
He was panting, standing in the ruins, staring at Su Qianqian with bloodshot eyes who was still sitting quietly on the sofa, like a wounded and angry lion.
Su Qianqian watched him go crazy without screaming or dodging.
After he paused for a moment, she stood up, carefully walked around the debris on the ground, and walked in front of him.
She stretched out her slender white arms, gently wrapped them around his strong waist, pressed her body into his arms, and rested her little face on his violently heaving chest.
Gu Chengyu's body stiffened. He felt the softness of her body and smelled the sweet fragrance that intoxicated him.
"I'm sorry..." Her voice was muffled.
"Also, thank you so much, thank you for all your protection and love during this time."
"I know you are good to me, and I also know that I am the only one you have now." She raised her little face and looked at him with fragile eyes.
"But, separating for a while is good for both of us, okay?"
"We started too quickly. We had sex right after we met. This was completely different from what I had imagined a relationship to be."

She coaxed him softly: "Let's go back to our respective seats and calm down, okay?"
Gu Chengyu lowered his head and looked at the delicate little face in his arms. His heart ached and he was furious.
He suddenly tightened his arms, almost rubbing her into his bones and blood, and spoke in a hoarse voice, gritting his teeth:
"Su Qianqian! You're just taking advantage of the fact that I like you! That's why you dare to stab me in the heart so fearlessly!"
"I really want to tie you to my bed so that you can't go anywhere and can only watch me possess you..."
Su Qianqian didn't answer, but hugged him tighter, "I'm sorry..."
He was right, she was fearless and she was sure that he would not hurt her.
