Chapter 117 I'm always here

In an instant, several people gathered together. An Ci smiled politely and greeted them one by one.

From the moment An Ci walked in, Cui Mingzhu never took her eyes off him.

Perhaps because he had just woken up, An Ci came over wearing casual clothes, with his cuffs casually rolled up twice, revealing a slender wrist.

He was very different from the cool look he had at the party last night. He had a kind of unadorned beauty that made people more and more fascinated the more they looked at him.

An Ci walked over to An Zhenxiong and sat down next to him. Opposite him happened to be Mr. Cui.

"Xiao Ci, you are very brave. You even dare to raise the White Tiger King." said Mr. Cui.

An Ci raised his lips, his smile wanton but not ostentatious, "Fugui is very good and obedient."

Hearing this, Mr. Cui looked at her deeply, his expression difficult to describe.

White Tiger King, are you pretty well behaved?

Did she have any misunderstanding about the word "good"?

And when she said obedient, she meant only listening to her.

Cui Ming recovered from the shock brought by the White Tiger King and said, "Xiao Ci, there were so many people at the banquet last night that we didn't have time to formally thank you for the bottle of medicine."

An Ci said, "No need, I said it's a birthday gift for Grandpa Cui."

Cui Ming smiled faintly, turned his gaze to An Zhenxiong, and said thoughtfully, "Master An, we came here today to ask for your help."

An Zhenxiong, "You say."

"It's like this. Our family has been looking for Mr. Yue, but there has been no news. I know that Mr. Yue's medicine has always been auctioned at the auction house under the name of the An family. I wonder if the head of the An family could give us Mr. Yue's contact information." Cui Ming said politely.

I know that he is looking for Mr. Yue because of Mr. Cui's illness, but An Zhenxiong really can't help with this matter.

Although Mr. Yue's medicine has always been auctioned at the auction house where they settled, Mr. Yue always had someone deliver the medicine to the auction house on his behalf. As for himself, he has never appeared and is very mysterious.

He said, "I can give you the contact information, but his phone may not be reachable."

Cui Ming was stunned, not quite understanding what he said.

What do you mean it may not be possible to get through?

Before he could ask, An Zhenxiong's voice continued, "It's like this. Mr. Yue's phone can only be reached on the day of the auction of his medicine. The rest of the time it's turned off."

Cui Ming frowned. So eccentric?

He asked, "When will Mr. Yue go to the auction house again?"

"I'm not sure about that," An Zhenxiong said. "You all know that Mr. Yue doesn't have a fixed time to deliver medicine to the auction house, and he always sends someone to deliver it; he never shows up himself."

Cui Ming couldn't help but feel a little frustrated. "Master An, please give me Mr. Yue's cell phone number."

Just take it as a chance, maybe he can get through by chance. He can't give up as long as there is a glimmer of hope.

An Zhenxiong nodded, took out his cell phone and sent him the number.

On the side, An Ci sat casually, listening to their conversation with a somewhat nonchalant look on his face.

Thinking about the club, she took out her phone and sent a message to Eric -

[Have you returned to Country Y?]

"An Ci, I heard you like strawberry cake, so I brought one for you."

An Ci turned off his phone and looked up at Cui Mingzhu. "Strawberry cake?"

Cui Mingzhu smiled and nodded.

She pushed the beautifully wrapped cake box in front of her.

"The same as at the party last night," she said.

An Ci glanced at the cake on the table, then smiled at her, "Thank you."

That smile was too dazzling. Cui Mingzhu was dazed for a moment. Then, coming back to her senses, her face flushed. "No, you're welcome."

After lunch, Mr. Cui and his two companions went home.

As soon as they left, Eric came and shouted that he was starving to death.

Aunt Hong smiled, paused her hand knitting the scarf, looked at him and asked softly, "Do you want me to make you a bowl of noodles?"

Eric nodded immediately and said sweetly, "Auntie Hong is still the best."

As the saying goes, a horse with thousands of holes in it will never be worn out.

"Auntie Hong, give me more meat."

"Okay." Aunt Hong put down the ball of yarn in her hand, stood up and left.

For a moment, they were the only two people left in the living room.

An Ci raised his eyes slightly and glanced at him, "Are you fleeing?"

"No." Eric blurted out.

"Then why are you like a starving ghost?"

Knowing she wouldn't say anything good, Eric rolled his eyes at her and said, lying on the sofa, "After the party last night, some friends dragged me out to hang out. We stayed up all night, and ended up getting woken up by my dad."

An Ci asked, "Have my aunt and the others gone home?"

Eric hummed, his head feeling a little dizzy after his hangover.

He raised his hand and pressed his forehead, saying, "I just sent them to the airport, and then came directly here. Oh, I saw the Cui family's car at the door just now."

"Mr. Cui and his friends are having lunch here." An Ci said as he looked at the tablet.

Eric was curious, "Who else is coming?"

"Cui Ming and Cui Mingzhu." An Ci said.

Eric noticed the cake on the table with his sharp eyes and smiled wickedly, "Could this cake be a gift from your fangirl?"

An Ci said without even looking up, "What fangirl?"

"Cui Mingzhu."

"Cui Mingzhu."

As soon as he finished speaking, An Ci rolled his eyes in disgust.

"Can you get something serious on your mind?"

Eric put his head in his hands and smiled profusely, "You may not know this, but Cui Mingzhu is the famous Ximan Princess. I've never seen her be so devoted to anyone before. She even came to your house to bring you a cake. You're so lucky, kid..."
