"Cousin." She lowered her voice.
Eric heard her voice, opened his eyes cautiously, and asked quietly, "What's going on?"
The others opened their eyes one after another. An Ci was afraid that they would be discovered if they moved too much, so he lowered his voice and said, "Don't move."
An Yiyao and his group lay down and dared not move.
"Where are they taking us?" Anyang asked worriedly.
An Ci shook his head lightly and said in a hollow voice, "It's okay, just follow them first."
"Who is the hall master they were talking about just now?" Eric was curious.
An Yiyao said, "I don't know. The An family has several hall masters."
"They didn't seem surprised at all to see us faint." An Jianwen has always been a meticulous person and quickly realized that something was wrong with the man in black.
"It seems they expected us to faint, so they came in to catch us."
An Yiyao understood immediately, and a light flashed in his mind, "Could it be that there is something wrong with that chicken?"
"No way, we all ate the chicken and no one was hurt." Anyang said.
An Jianwen said nothing, staring at An Ci with a probing look in his eyes.
Noticing An Jianwen's gaze, An Ci didn't rush to explain. She said, "Everything will become clear once we meet the hall master. Don't talk for now, or you'll be discovered."
Hearing this, everyone fell silent.
It rained yesterday and the ground was full of potholes, so the car was inevitably bumpy when driving on it.
We were bumped along like this all the way, and after an unknown amount of time, the car finally stopped.
Two men in black got out of the car, opened the rear tailgate, and carried An Ci and the others into the cabin one by one.
An Ci lay on the ground, secretly pricked up his ears to listen to the noise outside.
It was the voice of the man in black, "Master, everyone has been brought here."
"Have you brought all nine people?" Outside the door, Hong Wei was wearing a green suit and a pair of black boots. His sharp eyebrows were slightly frowned, and he looked cold and ruffian.
The man in black said, "Bring them all. The chicken would have been eaten by the time we got there."
Hong Wei frowned, "Your vigilance is so poor."
Even if you use your brain, you will know that such things as pie falling from the sky are absolutely not credible. Where would chickens come from in such a barren place? They don't even have this little bit of vigilance. They are indeed flowers grown in a greenhouse.
He walked into the cabin with his long legs.
Looking at the flowers lying on the ground, Hong Wei raised his eyebrows and his gaze stayed on An Ci.
He walked over slowly.
Then he squatted down in front of An Ci and chuckled, "You are very brave, but not vigilant enough. The young master still hasn't been trained enough. The head of the family needs to give him more training."
An Ci initially planned to endure it a little longer, but when he heard the words "additional training", he couldn't bear it any longer.
Just bear it.
She turned over, pulled out the dagger hidden in her pocket and pressed it against Hong Wei's neck.
The movements are as smooth as water, done in one go, clean and neat.
Hong Wei's pupils trembled slightly, and when he reacted, he felt a sudden chill on his neck, and the tip of the dagger was pressing against his skin.
"you……"
The effect of the medicine couldn't possibly wear off so quickly, how could she possibly be awake?
unless……
"Are you pretending?" His face darkened.
An Ci twitched his lips, "It's not just me."
Hong Wei's heart skipped a beat, and the next second he saw the "flowers" that had been lying on the ground opened their eyes one after another and stood up with a grin on their faces.
"Master Hong, I didn't expect that you would come to train us." As An Ci spoke, the dagger was still against Hong Wei's neck.
Eric looked at him with a resentful look on his face and said, "Master Hong, we haven't offended you before, have we? How dare you send the wolfhounds after us? That's too cruel."
Hong Wei looked at the lively group of people in front of him and his brows jumped.
It's really like seeing a ghost.
I was actually fooled by a group of little rascals.
He gritted his teeth and asked, "Didn't you eat that chicken?"
"There's something wrong with that chicken." Anyang said in surprise.
Hong Wei was stunned. He glanced at them and saw that they all looked clueless. He couldn't help but wonder.
Could it be that his subordinates made a mistake?
He looked up at the two subordinates standing at the door, "What's going on?"
The man in black had been frightened when An Ci held the dagger to Hong Wei's neck. Meeting Hong Wei's gaze, he slowly came to his senses and said, "Master, we did follow your instructions, and they did eat the chicken."
Hearing this, Hong Wei looked back at An Ci and asked tentatively, "Are you guys pretending to eat?"
Eric exclaimed, "Shit, we really ate it."
"Impossible, then how come you are okay?" Hong Wei retorted. He knew very well what medicine he had given.
An Jianwen looked at An Ci again, but the latter suddenly laughed out loud, with a hint of cynicism in his tone.
"It seems those rotten leaves are really useful."
Hong Wei keenly grasped the key point, "What rotten leaves?"
"Isn't it strange that a chicken suddenly appeared in such a deserted place like this?" An Ci said slowly, "And it was caught by Anyang."
Anyang's mouth twitched. Why did it feel like these words were insulting him?
"What's wrong with me?" he asked.
"You're catching chickens?" An Ci rolled his eyes at him. "You haven't even caught a single chick from my vegetable garden, let alone a chicken this big. Unless there's something wrong with that chicken."
Anyang, “…”
Hong Wei asked, "Since you knew there was something wrong with that chicken, why did you still eat it?"
"You can't catch a wolf without sacrificing a child." An Ci raised his lips, and his already handsome features became even more dazzling when he smiled. "I want to see who is playing tricks on us."
He wanted to catch them all in one fell swoop, so she simply took advantage of their situation. As the old saying goes, to catch a thief, you must first catch the leader.
