Chapter 123 Why don’t you just kill the victim?

"Hurry up and do it."

Eric roughly picked up the chicken, handed it to him, and urged, "Hurry up."

An Yiyao, “…”

"Hurry up." Eric said, "Just cut its neck. It's easy."

An Yiyao frowned and looked at him speechlessly.

Simple as shit.

It's easy to say, but if he has the ability, he can do it.

An Yiyao took a deep breath, grabbed the chicken with one hand, picked up the dagger with the other, and strode out.

That back figure inexplicably carried a sense of tragic grandeur.

"Remember to pluck the chicken feathers."

An Ci's voice came from behind, and An Yiyao slipped and staggered.

He turned around and looked at An Ci with a look that said, "Are you kidding me?" "Do you want to pluck more hair?"

Except for An Ci, everyone else present had never done housework at home, so naturally they didn't know how to pluck the feathers after killing a chicken.

An Ci raised an eyebrow and couldn't help laughing, "How can you eat it without plucking the hair, or do you usually eat it with the hair and meat?"

An Yiyao was speechless and resigned himself to his fate as he carried the chicken away.

"I'll help." Eric volunteered and chased after him happily.

Unexpectedly, the help he said was just verbal help. An Yiyao was responsible for killing the chicken, and he just stood by and watched.

"That's right, that's it. Pull out the hair on the other side too."

"And this."

"The chicken feathers here are not plucked cleanly."

He kept talking non-stop, and An Yiyao's patience gradually disappeared.

He raised his head and glared at him, saying unhappily, "Why don't you come here?"

Eric glanced at the chicken feathers on his head and the chicken blood on his hands. He silently took a step back and said with a wry smile, "I can't do it. You do it, you do it."

An Yiyao snorted lightly and lowered his head to continue plucking the chicken feathers.

When the two of them returned to the cave with the processed chicken, they did not see An Ci.

Eric asked, "Where's Xiaoci?"

Anyang said, "She went to find something to use for the roast chicken."

Eric looked puzzled, "How long has she been gone?"

"After you guys left." Anyang passed him and looked behind him, "She's back."

Eric turned around and saw An Ci walk in. His attention was immediately drawn to the thing in her hand.

"What's this?"

An Ci held up the herbs in his hand and evaded the question, "They're for roasting chicken. They add flavor."

Anyang looked at the cluster of green leaves, his eyes full of doubt. "Are you sure?"

To him, the leaves all over the mountain looked the same, so how did she identify them?

An Ci raised his chin and said, "After all, I have a vegetable garden. Who am I looking down on?"

"Of course, you don't have to eat it if you're afraid of poisoning."

After being hungry for more than two days, Anyang's stomach had already started to feel empty, so how could he resist not eating?

He laughed dryly, "No, that's not what I meant. I'll help you."

An Ci snorted, squatted down and started to roast the chicken, randomly kneading the picked herbs into a ball and stuffing them into the chicken's stomach.

"Here." Anyang handed over the shaved sticks attentively.

An Ci took the firewood sticks and skewered the chicken, then placed it on a wooden rack and roasted it.

"Okay, wait and eat."

Everyone was delighted and for the first time, they had a strong desire for roast chicken.

"What a pity, one ran away." Anyang squatted on the side and stared at the roasted chicken, his tone full of regret.

"It's only the third day, and we still have seven more days to endure." Eric sighed with a look of despair on his face.

This life is simply not a life for human beings.

When the others heard that they had to endure for another seven days, they fell silent.

After a long time, the oil sizzled and the rich aroma of roasted chicken wafted into the air, mixed with a hint of herbal fragrance, giving it a unique flavor.

Eric was almost crying with greed, and looked at An Ci eagerly, "Can I eat it now?"

An Ci nodded, "Let's eat."

Eric took the roast chicken off the rack, picked up a dagger and began to cut it.

A chicken was only this big, and each person only had a small piece. Eric wanted to swallow the chicken bones as well.

He threw down the chicken bones and sighed, "If only I had another chicken."

An Ci curled his lips, and the smile in his eyes was somewhat intriguing. Another one or no, there is no free lunch in the world.

Suddenly, the tip of her ears moved and she shushed them.

"Be quiet, someone seems to be coming."

An Yiyao and his group immediately became alert. An Ci said, "Lie down and pretend to be unconscious."

After saying that, she fell directly to the ground.

When others saw her like this, they thought she was trying to let the visitor down, so they quickly fell down and pretended to faint.

After a while, a particularly light sound of footsteps was heard.

Two men in black walked in side by side, looked at the chicken bones on the ground, and then looked at the young boys and girls lying on the ground in a mess.

"Everyone is fainted, what should we do?" asked one of the men in black.

Another person said, "Never mind. The hall master said to take everything back and throw it all in the car."

An Ci closed his eyes, but wondered in his heart who the hall master they were talking about was.

Hearing the footsteps approaching, she remained motionless, and the next second she was lifted up by the man in black.

Not hearing her voice, the remaining people showed a rare tacit understanding and allowed the men in black to carry them up and take them out.

A moment later, they were thrown into the open cargo box of a truck. The nine of them huddled together, and no one dared to move.

It was not until the car started and drove some distance that An Ci secretly opened her eyes a little to confirm that there was no one in black around. She nudged Eric beside her with her elbow.
