Chapter 142 Who Are You? (1)

He even changed his cell phone number. He left with a clean heart.

Fugui rubbed his furry head against her palm, as if to comfort her. An Ci curled the corners of her lips, looking a little absent-minded.

On the way, An Ci fell asleep in a daze, and when she woke up, the plane had just arrived at the manor.

She got off the plane carrying her backpack, and Fugui ran ahead of her.

The man and the tiger returned to the castle, and she saw Aunt Hong standing at the door from a distance.

"Come, give me your backpack." Seeing her come back, Aunt Hong hurried to greet her. An Lan had called her yesterday to tell her what had happened in the capital in the past two days. She should try to avoid mentioning any topics related to Shen Moguan in front of An Ci to avoid making her sad.

An Ci handed her the backpack and casually asked, "Aunt Hong, where's Grandpa?"

"The master of the house hasn't come back yet." Aunt Hong asked, "Are you hungry? What do you want to eat?"

An Ci's cold hadn't healed yet, and his appetite was a little low. "I'm not hungry."

Aunt Hong looked at her haggard face and couldn't help but feel distressed. "Then I'll make you some porridge. You can eat some when you're hungry later."

An Ci nodded, and as soon as he entered the room, he lay down on the sofa, looking listless.

This state continued until Dali came to find her. An Ci sat up, smoothed her messy hair, then picked up her hat and casually put it on her head.

"Did you find out?"

Dali nodded with a wooden face and handed the phone to her. An Ci took it and flipped through the photos on the phone.

In the photo, a man was being beaten by a group of people in a corner of a bar, with many people standing around watching.

An Ci's eyes darkened slightly. After looking at the photos, she returned the phone to him and stood up. "Let's go."

He always obeyed her words, so he put his phone back into his pocket and followed her.

Before I even reached the door, Aunt Hong came out of the kitchen and caught me red-handed. "Where are you going?"

"Auntie Hong, Dali and I are going out for a while." An Ci stopped and looked back at her, "We'll be back soon."

Aunt Hong asked, "Just the two of you?"

An Ci nodded, "Don't worry, Aunt Hong, I'll just go out for a walk, it's okay."

Aunt Hong was still worried, "How about we bring a few more bodyguards?"

"Really, no need. I'll be back soon." An Ci said as he ran out, with Dali following closely behind him.

In a flash, both of them disappeared.

Aunt Hong had no choice but to turn around and get food for Fugui.

It was already evening when they came out of the manor. Dali was driving and An Ci sat in the back seat. The rosy clouds in the sky were reflected in his eyes, and he began to daydream again.

Dali didn't disturb her and drove quietly.

After a long time, the car stopped in front of a bar. He unbuckled his seat belt vigorously, looked up at the people in the back seat through the rearview mirror, and said, "Young Master, we're here."

An Ci came back to his senses and looked out the window. Just as he was about to get off the car, he saw two burly men carrying a young man out and throwing him to the ground like a rag.

With a loud bang, a cloud of dust was raised.

"Get out of here." One of the burly men cursed and spat on the ground.

Perhaps because he was beaten too hard, the young man struggled several times before getting up from the ground.

He hunched his back, covering his abdomen with one hand, and his face was covered with bruises, especially the bruise at the corner of his mouth, which was very conspicuous.

He looked extremely embarrassed.

An Ci narrowed his eyes and looked at the young man not far away. It was hard to connect him with the unruly captain of the Fire Team on the field.

Two years is enough time to smooth out a person's edges.

Leir rubbed his aching abdomen and stared at the bar sign, his eyes full of unwillingness and anger, and even more of helplessness.

After a while, he turned and left.

Seeing this, An Ci opened the car door and got out, followed by Dali.

When they reached a less crowded area, Leier suddenly stopped and asked, "You've been following me for so long, aren't you tired?"

As he said this, he slowly turned around, and his hand covering his abdomen never dropped, obviously he was seriously injured.

An Ci put her hands in her pockets, and the brim of her hat covered most of her face. In the light of the street lamp, Lei Er could only see her rosy lips and thin chin.

He frowned, his eyes swept over Dali, and a sense of vigilance rose in his heart.

"Who are you?"

An Ci chuckled and said jokingly, "The anti-reconnaissance capability is quite strong."

Lei Er said nothing, his eyes moving between An Ci and Dali, and he could see that An Ci was the one who made the decision.

An Ci lowered the brim of his hat, revealing his bright peach blossom eyes and a harmless smile. "You're injured so badly, aren't you going to see a doctor?"

Lei Er found that it was a child so young, and frowned fiercely, "Who are you?"
