Chapter 151 She Pushed Me

Unexpectedly, Xie Xin blocked the door and refused to let her go. "You have lived a happy and fulfilling life, being pampered, but Jianwen has been without his father since childhood, and we mother and son have been ridiculed by outsiders. Can't you stand other people's well-being?"

An Ci didn't want to argue with her because she was his elder, but he didn't expect that she would go further and further, almost throwing a tantrum and cursing in the street.

"I asked you to beg for a favor in front of the master of the house, but you're not willing to do this small favor?" Xie Xin's voice was full of resentment.

An Ci put away his usual smile, his brows and eyes were cold, and his voice was neither cold nor warm, "I can't help you because you are so busy."

She was determined not to help, and Xie Xin got anxious and, in a fit of rage, raised her hand and pushed An Ci fiercely and violently.

An Ci's face changed slightly, and he reflexively dodged to the side. Xie Xin missed and lost his balance and fell down the stairs.

It was too late for An Ci to reach out and pull her.

“Dongdongdong——”

The huge noise instantly attracted the attention of the bodyguards, and even the second elder came.

"Xie Xin."

The second elder looked at Xie Xin lying on the ground with blood all over his head. His pupils constricted and his face turned pale with shock.

He urged the bodyguard, "Quick, call a doctor."

The bodyguard rushed down and picked up Xie Xin. Xie Xin fell hard, her forehead was broken and her face was covered in blood, but she had not completely lost consciousness.

She raised her trembling hand and pointed at An Ci, her voice weak and feeble, "She, she pushed me."

The second elder was completely dumbfounded.

Faced with Xie Xin's counterattack, An Ci was not panicked at all. He looked at Xie Xin indifferently, with a calmness that was frightening.

Xie Xin was taken by the bodyguards to see a doctor, and for a moment only An Ci and the second elder were left.

The atmosphere was silent and depressing.

The Second Elder looked at An Ci with a complicated expression, "Young Master..."

Knowing that the Second Elder was a reasonable person, An Ci didn't want to embarrass him because of this matter, so he interrupted him and said, "Second Elder, please go see Aunt Xie first. We can talk about it later if there is anything."

The second elder thought of Xie Xin fishing with blood all over his head, nodded, turned and left.

An Ci did not follow him. He raised his hand, pinched his eyebrows, and sighed helplessly.

It never ends.

The examination took a long time. Xie Xin fell quite hard. In addition to bruises of various sizes all over his body, his right leg was slightly fractured and he had to get more than a dozen stitches on his forehead.

In one word, miserable.

Three words: you asked for it.

The surveillance camera in the stairwell was under maintenance these days, and only the two parties involved knew what happened in the stairwell. Relying on this, Xie Xin insisted that it was An Ci who pushed her.

The second elder was overwhelmed. Looking at his daughter lying on the hospital bed receiving an IV drip, he said helplessly, "Xie Xin, there are some things you can't say carelessly. The young master is just a child, and you are an adult."

Xie Xin's head was wrapped in thick bandages, and her face was covered in bruises. However, her words made people feel no pity for her. "Dad, what do you mean by that? Did I fall down the stairs and slander her?"

She became very emotional as she said this.

The Second Elder was afraid that she might tear the wound in excitement, so he quickly lowered his voice, "That's not what I meant. I watched the young master grow up. Although she is a little naughty, she is very kind-hearted and would never do anything to hurt anyone."

"Dad, we are a family. Why would you rather believe her than your own daughter?" Xie Xin was overwhelmed by anger. She sat up abruptly, completely losing her former elegance and gentleness, and her whole body exuded a gloomy aura.

"She was the one who pushed me."

Before he finished speaking, the door of the ward opened and An Jianwen, wearing a hospital gown, appeared at the door.

The Second Elder looked at his grandson, his brows etched with worry, "Jianwen, why are you here?"

An Jianwen closed the door, walked slowly to the bed, and looked at the wound on Xie Xin's face with a complicated look.

His arrival calmed Xie Xin's emotions temporarily. Because of cutting his wrist, Xie Xin felt guilty towards him and did not dare to look him in the eye.

Her voice lowered, "Jianwen, are you okay? Go back to the ward and rest."

An Jianwen looked at her and spoke in a low voice, "Mom, I know you have resentment and hatred in your heart, but Xiaoci is innocent. She is not that kind of person."

Even he didn't stand on her side, and even spoke for An Ci.

Xie Xin's face instantly darkened, like a lit firecracker, and his tone became fierce, "Even you don't believe me?"

An Jianwen had a blank expression on his face, as if he was used to her like this. He shut his mouth and stopped talking.

There was silence again.

Xie Xin was furious. The next second, when she saw his injured wrist, her expression froze, and within a few seconds, she suddenly burst into tears.

Her tone dropped, and she cried softly, "Why don't you all believe me? Why doesn't anyone stand by me and think for me?"

Unlike the time when she cried bitterly in front of the Second Elder, this time she cried very suppressedly, as if she had suffered a great injustice.

Mother and child are connected by heart, and seeing her crying heart-wrenchingly, An Jianwen couldn't bear it after all.

He walked up to her and hugged her gently without saying anything.

The second elder looked at them with a sad face, and in an instant he seemed to have aged several years.

After asking the doctor about Xie Xin's condition, An Ci came over with Dali.

As soon as I arrived at the ward door, I heard Xie Xin crying.

She paused, hesitated, and then walked toward the bench in the hallway.

Dali followed closely with a constipated expression.

An Ci noticed it and looked up at him, "Why do you look like that?"

Dali hesitated, and seeing that he was hesitant to speak, An Ci urged him, "Just say whatever you want to say. Why are you being so shy, man?"
