"Didn't you say your sister was studying design? The club just happens to be in need of a designer, as we'll be producing uniforms and merchandise." An Ci put down his knife and fork, picked up the glass beside him and took a sip of juice. "Go back and ask her if she's interested."
Leier suppressed his excitement and asked worriedly, "But Nana's legs..."
An Ci said, "A designer relies on his work, not a pair of legs."
"Nana would definitely be very happy if she knew." Apu smiled slightly, and the outline of his face seemed softer.
Leir nodded. Ever since she became confined to a wheelchair, no one wanted to hire Nana for interviews. After such a series of setbacks, Nana became discouraged about interviews.
Later on, he stopped her from going, fearing that she would not be able to bear the blows too many times.
If she heard the news, she would definitely be overjoyed.
Lei Er looked at An Ci, his tone full of gratitude, "Thank you, young boss."
An Ci picked up his knife and fork again, a casual smile on his lips, "There's nothing to thank me for. I recruit people based on their abilities."
"But didn't you say in the club just now that appearance also matters?" Nick said with a smile.
"What you mean is that you think Nana is not pretty?" Apu curled his lips, and his gentle smile had a hint of mockery.
"Of course not." Nick rolled his eyes at him and pouted, "Don't wrongly accuse me."
Apu smiled faintly.
With Nick, the little expert at livening up the atmosphere, the laughter at the table continued.
After lunch, An Ci was about to follow them back to the club, but her plan was disrupted by a call from Aunt Hong, who said that someone was waiting for her at the manor and asked her to go back early.
An Ci was puzzled, "Who is it?"
Aunt Hong kept it a secret and said, "You'll know when you come back."
So mysterious?
An Ci raised his eyebrows, and Shen Mo's face appeared unconsciously in front of him.
Could it be him?
Thinking of this, An Ci's eyes lit up. He replied "OK" and hung up the phone. He looked up at Lei Er and the others and said, "I have something to do and I have to go back first."
As he finished speaking, Dali drove over.
An Ci quickly walked forward and opened the car door. Fugui got into the car skillfully, and then she got in.
Closing the car door, she said, "Let's not go to the club, let's go back to the manor."
Dali started the car and left without asking the reason.
Watching the car drive away, Nick looked puzzled. "This is the first time I've seen the young boss so anxious. Could something have happened?"
Apu patted his shoulder and said with a smile, "You don't have to worry about the boss. You should think about your physical training first."
When it comes to physical training, Nick suddenly becomes dispirited. He looks up and sighs, "Save the child."
Before he could finish his words, a hand grabbed his collar and a deep voice fell into his ear.
"Don't cry, it's embarrassing."
As soon as Leier finished speaking, Manager Fang drove over. He opened the door and stuffed Nick into the car.
"Fuck, Captain, can you be a little gentler?" Nick protested dissatisfiedly, covering his head that was hit.
He has a broad mind.
Leir ruthlessly said, "No."
…
The car drove directly to the castle gate. As soon as it stopped, An Ci couldn't wait to open the door and jump out.
Then he ran into the living room in a hurry.
"Auntie Hong."
The voice arrived before she arrived. Aunt Hong came out and was surprised to see that she came back so soon.
"Auntie Hong, who's here?" An Ci grabbed her hand, his clear eyes filled with unnoticeable anticipation. "Where's the person?"
Aunt Hong smiled, "Over in the master's study."
She didn't say who was coming, and An Ci forgot to ask. Perhaps in her subconscious, the person she most looked forward to seeing was Shen Mo.
An Ci turned around and ran out.
Before Aunt Hong could finish her next words, she disappeared in the blink of an eye.
…
At this moment, in the study.
Three pairs of eyes looked at the freshly baked report card on the table. After a brief silence, An Lan chuckled, "Not bad, cub has made progress."
An Zhenxiong raised his eyelids, glanced at her, and snorted, "You are the only one who spoils her."
An Lan looked at him amusedly and said, "Dad, it seems like you're the one who spoils the cub the most."
What do you mean she spoils Zaizai? It's obvious that he is the one who spoils Zaizai the most in the whole family, but he still refuses to admit it.
Just like now, An Zhenxiong pretended to be stern and said, "How could I spoil her? Don't talk nonsense."
An Lan smiled, not arguing with him about this issue. She turned to look at Song Xiunian and said, "Do you think that Zizi has made progress?"
Song Xiunian placed his fingertips between his eyebrows, pinched them nonchalantly, and chuckled softly, "If you say there is one, then there is one."
An Lan glared at him coquettishly, "Perfunctory."
In response to her accusation, Song Xiunian smiled helplessly, leaned forward, picked up the report card on the table and took a careful look at it.
After a few seconds, he said with a mixture of laughter and tears, "This kid learns everything quickly, but why is it so hard for him to study?"
"How can you talk like that? What do you mean by 'laborious'?" An Lan took the transcript from him and pointed at one of the courses, saying proudly, "I already got an A."
"Just one." Song Xiunian looked at the row of Bs below, feeling a headache. "It's my first time."
An Lan froze the smile on her face, and slapped his leg unhappily, "Do you understand what encouragement education is? It's rare for our little girl to get an A on the test. You have to encourage her so that she will have the motivation to continue studying hard."
Song Xiunian smiled faintly and said nothing. If he continued talking, he would probably have to sleep in the study that night.
