His hands and feet were tied again, and An Ci leaned against the wall, watching Erpang lock the door and leave.
Outside the door, Erpang pulled out the key and someone suddenly patted his shoulder.
"Have they eaten yet?"
Erpang turned around and looked at his eldest brother, "They ate up the whole bag of steamed buns."
The man nodded and whispered, "You stay here and keep an eye on them. I'm going to go out for a while."
"Brother, if we don't answer that person's call, will he become suspicious of us?" Erpang asked worriedly.
The three little bastards inside are like bombs. If you're not careful, they can blow them to pieces at any time.
The man tilted his head and glanced into the room through the crack in the door. His eyes swept over the three little ones in the corner with an unfathomable expression.
The two brothers only wanted to make money and didn't want to cause any loss of life, but the man's hands were obviously stained with blood. If these children fell into his hands, they would probably lose their lives, and then the two brothers would be forced to become accomplices.
He said in a hoarse voice, "That person asked me to meet him, so I'm going to confirm the identities of these little bastards. I don't think I'll be back soon, so keep an eye on them."
Erpang said, "Don't worry, those little bastards are tied up, they can't escape."
After the man left, Erpang returned to the car to eat.
Late at night, everything was quiet, and the cold wind whipped against the wooden windows, making them creak.
There was no heating in the room, and Eric was shivering with cold, his words stuttering. "Are we really... gonna have to wait here?"
He was not the only one who felt cold. An Ci was also freezing to death, and his delicate little face turned pale from the cold.
"Of course not."
As she spoke, she glanced towards the door, then lifted her left foot, pressed her heel against the ground, and pushed hard.
Shen Mo watched from the side, confusion flashing in his eyes.
"Why did you take off your shoes?" Eric looked puzzled.
An Ci shushed him, "Don't talk."
Eric didn't understand, but he kept his mouth shut and watched her curiously as she kicked off her shoes. The next second, when he saw something fall out of the shoes, his eyes widened in shock.
Oh shit.
She hid razor blades in her shoes?
What kind of fetish is this? Isn’t she afraid of scratching her feet?
Shen Mo looked at the small blade on the ground, his eyes flickering slightly, "Did you pick it up in the bathroom?"
An Ci nodded and moved his butt over.
"I'll do it." Shen Mo saw through her thoughts at a glance and moved over using both legs. He had long arms and legs and got the small blade in one go.
An Ci's eyes lit up, and he immediately raised his bound hands and handed them to him, "Hurry."
The two men might come over at any time, so they don’t have much time to waste.
Shen Mo used two fingers to hold the small blade and cut the hemp rope. Eric was excited and nervous, and looked towards the door from time to time.
Fortunately, the hemp ropes were relatively thin and broke after a few cuts. An Ci loosened his wrist and quickly struggled to break free from the hemp ropes.
Eric's face lit up with joy as he held it out with both hands, "Help me untie it quickly."
An Ci untied the hemp rope in two or three moves, and then went to help Shen Mo untie him.
The three of them untied the hemp ropes on their feet. An Ci put on his shoes and looked up at the wooden window.
The door is locked, so the only option now is to climb through the window.
With just one look from her, Shen Mo guessed what she was thinking. He looked around and his eyes fell on the stool in the corner. He immediately walked over and moved the stool over.
"Use this." As he said this, his eyes stayed on Eric intentionally or unintentionally.
An Ci smiled knowingly, turned to look at Eric, and whispered, "It's time to contribute your strong shoulders."
Eric exclaimed, "What?"
"You stand on it first." An Ci pointed at the stool.
Perhaps it was because An Ci had always acted calm, and Eric subconsciously listened to her without realizing it.
He raised his foot and stood on the stool. An Ci asked him to squat down again. Eric looked confused, but still did as she said.
An Ci and Shen Mo exchanged glances. Shen Mo put one foot on the stool and the other on Eric's shoulder.
The sudden weight made Eric's face flush red. He put his hands on the wall and barely managed to steady himself.
Fuck.
What are you doing.
"Hold on, whether we can escape depends on you." An Ci encouraged.
Eric's calves trembled as he resisted the urge to roll his eyes at her.
She said it so easily, she would do it if she could.
But he really didn't want to stay in this damn place any longer. Eric took a deep breath and said, "Hurry up."
Shen Mo also put his other foot on his shoulder and reached for the window sill with both hands.
Eric gritted his teeth and slowly stood up, with veins bulging from his forehead to his neck.
The shabby wooden window opened with a push. Shen Mo supported himself on the windowsill with both hands and climbed up lightly.
An Ci raised her head, her eyes fixed on him. Shen Mo jumped up, her heart in her throat.
Although this height will not cause you to break your legs, it is still quite dangerous.
"Xiao Ci, hurry up." Eric squatted down again.
An Ci stepped on his shoulders and held the wall with both hands. She was much lighter than when she was carrying Shen Mo just now, and Eric looked much more relaxed.
But the problem was that An Ci was short and couldn't climb up the window as easily as Shen Mo. She grabbed the windowsill with both hands and stretched her legs in the air a few times, but she just couldn't climb up.
Seeing this, Eric spread out his hands for her to step on, and stretched his arms hard.
His face flushed, "Hurry up."
An Ci climbed up the window, his hands almost numb, and suddenly heard Shen Mo's low voice from below, "Baby."
An Ci lowered his head and saw Shen Mo standing there unharmed, and he immediately breathed a sigh of relief.
