Chapter 82 Gift (2)

Shen Mo lowered his head to blow out the candle. An Ci reached out and pulled the coat off the sofa, fumbling in his pocket.

Shen Mo looked at her with confusion, and the next second he saw her take out a small blue card from her pocket and handed it directly to him.

"Here, a gift."

Shen Mo lowered his eyes and saw two lines of words written in pencil on the small blue card.

The first line reads - Wish Exchange Voucher.

The second line reads: Shen Mo can ask An Ci to do something, under reasonable conditions.

Shen Mo stared at the second line of words for a while and couldn't help laughing. He looked up at her and asked, "What do you mean by reasonable premise?"

"It can't be beyond my ability." An Ci said, "Otherwise, if you want the stars and the moon, I won't be able to go up to the sky and pick them for you."

Shen Mo became even more curious, "Then what request can you agree to?"

"For example, if you want to go to the amusement park, I can accompany you or be your little follower for a day." An Ci thought seriously and said slowly.

"Or one day in the future when you need me, no matter where I am, as long as you use this voucher, I will fly to you immediately.

After hearing her next words, Shen Mo thought that there was nothing he could want more than this gift.

He murmured, "Does this voucher have an expiration date?"

"No." An Ci said, "But it can only be exchanged once."

He is the birthday boy, and the most important thing is that he is happy.

Upon hearing this, Shen Mo folded the small card as if it were a treasure and put it in his coat pocket.

"So what wish did you make just now?" An Ci lowered his voice and tried to get some information out of him.

Shen Mo glanced at her and didn't fall for it. "Guess."

An Ci curled her lips and said she didn't want to guess.

She took out two forks and handed one to Shen Mo, "Eat the cake."

Shen Mo took the fork with a smile on his face, "Thank you, son."

An Ci took a bite of cake and put it into his mouth, squinting his eyes in satisfaction. "No need to thank me, as long as you are happy."

The corners of Shen Mo's mouth were almost stretched to the back of his head, and the gloom that had accumulated throughout the day disappeared in an instant.

He suddenly thought of something and picked up his phone, adjusting it to selfie mode. "Come here, baby."

An Ci leaned over with a fork in his mouth, looked up at the camera and smiled, and Shen Mo pressed the button several times.

After taking the photos, the two continued to eat the cake. They couldn't eat too much in the middle of the night, so they finished half of the cake and then stopped.

Although he slept too much in the afternoon, An Ci was still very energetic after eating the cake and not sleepy at all.

She looked at Shen Mo who was clearing the table, "Does Uncle Che know you're coming here?"

Shen Mo nodded and took the initiative to open the conversation, "Is it fun to go to the temple?"

"It was fun." An Ci said lazily, sprawled on the sofa. "We even went fishing and brought the fish back to grill."

Shen Mo put the remaining cake aside and listened to her quietly.

The two chatted about this and that, and An Ci didn't ask Shen Mo where he was going today. A tacit understanding that belonged only to them gradually formed between the two children.

It was almost four in the morning when the two of them turned off the lights and went to bed. Shen Mo naturally held An Ci's hand, and An Ci did not struggle, enjoying this natural hand warmer.

The next day, everyone got up late without exception.

Fugui was the first one to get up, and he was wandering around the living room early in the morning.

An Lan walked into the dining room and saw that only Song Xiunian and Eric were there. "Is Dad still awake?"

Song Xiunian closed the newspaper and said, "I drank quite a lot with Dad last night."
