"So your name is Wan Yin?" Bai Jingyuan puffed out his cheeks, frowned, and looked bewildered. "Then what's your surname?"
Yao Wanyin lowered her eyes and remained silent.
Bai Jingyuan laughed heartily, not caring what her surname was; a name was just a label.
"Okay, I'll take you for a walk in the yard!" she said, and started to walk out the door.
"Hey, you..."
Before he could even step out, Yao Wanyin grabbed him.
Bai Jingyuan was taken aback and looked down...
I'm not wearing pants yet!
He immediately blushed, looked up at Yao Wanyin in a panic, and forced a smile that looked worse than crying.
Yao Wanyin was amused by him, and a trace of color finally returned to her pale face.
Bai Jingyuan rushed into the dressing room, quickly put on a pair of pants, and then took Yao Wanyin for a walk in the yard.
The autumn night was beautiful. The yard had been bathed in sunshine all day, and there was still a warm, pleasant scent of sunshine in it. The surroundings were quiet, with the occasional chirping of birds, and the scattered lights seemed like fireflies flying around.
Yao Wanyin took a deep breath and gently closed her eyes.
Standing in the courtyard like this, breathing freely, feels like something from a past life.
"That's nice." She chuckled softly, opening her eyes to look at the deep blue sky.
"What?" Bai Jingyuan didn't understand.
"I said that being able to stand in the yard like this and breathe some fresh air is already a rare treat for me."
"..." Bai Jingyuan was even more confused, "Don't you usually breathe? Are you wearing a ventilator?"
Yao Wanyin looked at him and burst out laughing.
For some reason, even though it was our first time meeting, it felt like we'd known each other for ages.
She hadn't laughed in a long time, and tonight's laughter was all because of him.

"Envious of the stars?"
"Yes, I long to be as free as starlight."
This was the first time Bai Jingyuan had ever heard anyone say that starlight is free.
In fact, for Yao Wanyin, everything in the world, even a drop of water or a tree, possesses a freedom that she cannot yearn for.
"You mean you like stargazing?" Bai Jingyuan laughed. "It seems all women are like this, liking things that are out of reach and untouchable!"
Yao Wanyin was stunned for a moment, "We women?"
"Yes! My sister-in-law likes it too!"
Yao Wanyin didn't know who her sister-in-law was.
However, she enjoyed listening to him talk.
"My third brother plucked the stars off the tree to make a necklace for his sister-in-law!"

"Quickly put this on!" Bai Jingyuan wrapped her up tightly. "Aren't you unwell? You can't catch a cold!"
Yao Wanyin licked her lips and looked at him quietly.
At this moment, a slight commotion was heard in the auction hall, and some people were already walking towards the door.

Bai Jingyuan opened his eyes wide, but could only see that thin white figure getting further and further away from him.
