Chapter 121 Brother Black Bear

So she didn't see that after Lin Yuxin finished speaking in her mind, the black bear trembled with fear, then pitifully placed Lin Yuxin on its shoulder and walked away in one direction.

"Hey! Brother Bear, where are you taking me?!"

Lin Yuxin exclaimed in surprise when she saw that the bear wasn't eating her but instead carrying her away.

She wanted to jump down, but the black bear was too fast, and its grip on her legs was too strong, so she couldn't jump.

No matter how much she shouted or moved, no one paid any attention to her, and her big feet walked faster and faster.

Lin Yuxin finally gave up struggling. Oh well, she'd just have to lie down and see what happens.

And so, the man and the bear disappeared into the forest, the black bear carrying Lin Yuxin all the way to the deepest part of the mountain.

Lin Yuxin realized that they had been gone for quite some time, and she felt a little uneasy.

Is this bear going to sell her or something? If she tries to escape, where can she go? Everything around here looks the same; what if she can't find her way out and gets trapped here forever?

Just as Lin Yuxin was hesitating and feeling uneasy, the black bear stopped and put her down.

After Lin Yuxin steadied herself, her heart pounded and she became extremely alert.

[The black bear wouldn't really take her home and then eat her, would it? Should I fight back? Or find a place to hide? Although she's not very strong, she's still capable of killing a bear, and she still has so many poisons in her storage space that she hasn't taken out yet!]

"roar!"

Just as Lin Yuxin thought of this, she saw the black bear growl at her, then raise its black paws in a pitiful manner and point forward.

Lin Yuxin looked at it blankly. It... wasn't it going to eat her? Was that a look of grievance in the black bear's eyes just now? She wasn't even aggrieved when it captured her, so what was it aggrieved about?

Just then, the black bear pointed in that direction again, and Lin Yuxin came to her senses. She looked in the direction the black bear was pointing and saw a small pond. It wasn't big, but the presence of water made Lin Yuxin very happy.

"Brother Black Bear! Is this pond yours?"

Upon seeing the water source, Lin Yuxin became so excited that she used honorifics and was no longer afraid of the black bear. She asked happily, regardless of whether the bear understood her or not.

Regardless of whether it was malicious or not, taking her to find a water source is like being her second parents!

But the black bear understood. It not only understood what Lin Yuxin said, but it could also hear Lin Yuxin's inner thoughts.

It had just gone out to find food when it heard a voice chattering incessantly, which annoyed it terribly. Unable to resist, it went over to investigate and saw the two-legged creature digging for grass.

What's so delicious about that grass? But it found the two-legged creature quite amusing. Not only could it hear the creature's thoughts, but before it could even do anything, it heard the creature say something about steaming bear paws.

It doesn't taste good; it only likes to eat other people. However, it was still frightened by what the two-legged creature said.

After thinking about it, I figured that the two-legged creature probably had nothing to eat, which was why it wanted to eat me. So I simply brought her here. There are fish in this pond, so that should be enough for her to eat, right?

Once she's full, she won't want to eat it anymore!

Lin Yuxin was unaware of the black bear's inner thoughts, nor did she know that her feelings had expanded to include animals because of the rescue of the people of Beicheng.

She now desperately wants to fly back and find someone to bring water down the mountain.

The black bear moved its massive body toward the pond, then turned to look at Lin Yuxin and pointed its paw into the water.

Lin Yuxin followed behind it, watching its movements, and only then did she realize that the bear was trying to tell her that there was something in the pond.

Is there something underwater?

Lin Yuxin asked incredulously.

"roar!"

The black bear nodded its head and roared.

Lin Yuxin then realized that the bear could understand her. Could all the animals in these mountains be sentient beings? The snake earlier was one, and now this bear is too.

"Brother Bear, you can't understand me, can you?"

Lin Yuxin asked directly.

"roar!"

The black bear nodded its black bear head.

Lin Yuxin's eyes lit up.

[This black bear has become a spirit? Hehe! I'd better get on its good side, right?]

"Brother Black Bear, since you can understand what I'm saying, then we're good friends. If you ever need anything, just let me know, and I, Lin Yuxin, will definitely help if I can!"

Lin Yuxin patted his chest, looking like a good buddy.

Lin Yuxin is very open-minded. As long as she doesn't eat her food, they're good friends! If they build a good relationship, she'll definitely believe that Lin Yuxin can't just come and go as she pleases! Hehe!

"roar!"

The black bear listened to Lin Yuxin's words and nodded in agreement. Friend? Two-legged friend? Hmm! Okay!

"Hahaha! Brother Black Bear, you're so kind!"

Lin Yuxin shouted happily and ran to the pond.

Looking down, my eyes grew brighter and brighter; there were fish in the pond, and they were quite big.

The presence of fish indicates that the pond has flowing water, suggesting that there may be an even larger water source above.

"Fish! Brother Bear, there's fish here!"

Lin Yuxin jumped up happily and called out to Brother Xiong in a familiar manner.

However, her worthless appearance disgusted the black bear. A few fish made his two-legged friend so happy; he's never seen anything like it! It seems I'll have to find her more food in the future.

Lin Yuxin didn't notice the black bear's disdain. She picked up a stick, tested the depth of the pond, and started catching fish. She had learned some wilderness survival skills in the army.

Knowing how to catch fish, she used the wooden stick in her hand, then took out a dagger from her spatial storage and started whittling. In no time, one end of the stick was sharpened.
