Then Lin Yuxin stood by the pond and quietly observed the fish in it, without moving.
The black bear watched its two-legged friend bustle around for ages, then just stood there motionless. What was she doing?
The black bear was puzzled, but that didn't stop it from watching the show. It simply stepped aside, spent a long time digging in a tree, pulled out a lump of honey, and sat down under the tree to eat it, all the while watching Lin Yuxin stand there like a log.
Suddenly, Lin Yuxin moved swiftly and decisively, plunging the wooden stick into the water. When she lifted the stick, a large fish weighing about ten pounds was stuck in it.
Still struggling and wagging its tail on the stick, Lin Yuxin could barely support herself with both hands. She gave it a strong jerk and flung it ashore.
That way she wouldn't be afraid of the fish escaping. Then she gathered some firewood, found an open space, and prepared to grill the fish.
The black bear watched Lin Yuxin's series of actions and thought that his two-legged friend was not very smart, making such a fuss over eating fish.
But when Lin Yuxin's grilled fish smelled delicious, Black Bear couldn't resist. He dragged his fat body forward and drooled as he smelled it.
Lin Yuxin saw that Brother Xiong was also eyeing the fish in her hand, and said with a smile:
"Brother Black Bear, wait a moment, it'll be cooked and ready to eat!"
Lin Yuxin took out the peaches she had picked earlier from her spatial storage, washed them in the pond, and then offered a few to the black bear. However, the bear refused to accept them, looking disgusted.
The black bear stared intently at the grilled fish over the fire, while Peach ignored it completely; it wouldn't eat that, it wanted to eat meat.
