Lin Yuxin closed her eyes resignedly. She thought she wouldn't be able to sleep because of being held like this, but she fell asleep in no time.
After Lin Yuxin's breathing stabilized, Li Xiaochen opened his eyes and stared intently at her sleeping face, as if he could never get enough of looking at her, a smile playing on his lips.
"You said it yourself, that you'd have my baby after we get married, so you can't go back on your word!"
Li Xiaochen said softly, then leaned down and gently kissed Lin Yuxin's lips.
Then he tightened his grip on Lin Yuxin's hand and closed his eyes peacefully.
The next day, before dawn, Lin Yuxin was woken up by Li Xiaochen.
"Xin Xin, get up quickly, it's almost time to go beachcombing."
Li Xiaochen called out softly.
Lin Yuxin usually gets up early, but never this early. She opened her eyes in confusion and stared blankly at Li Xiaochen, as if asking what was going on.
Li Xiaochen looked at this usually shrewd person, who was now acting like a fool, and found it amusing. He pinched Lin Yuxin's cheek and repeated:
"Get up quickly, we're going to go beachcombing later. Aunt Mu told you about it yesterday, didn't you forget?"
Lin Yuxin blinked, came to her senses, and her mind cleared up. Oh, right!
"Right! Is it time yet?"
Lin Yuxin sat up and asked.
