Fu Rongchen put down his book, looked up and saw her standing there motionless. He gave her a strange look and asked, "What's wrong?"
Shangguan Yanran snapped out of her daze and touched her nose to hide her unease.
Who was that guy trying to seduce with that sly smile?
There was no one else in the room except her. Was he trying to seduce her?
She was stunned by her own idea.

She patted her head, dispelling the inappropriate thought.
Seeing her frowning and slapping her head, Fu Rongchen was both amused and exasperated. "What are you doing?"
Shangguan Yanran walked over, looked at his indifferent face, and shook her head, "No."
"Sit down and see what we want to eat today." Fu Rongchen didn't press for details and reached out to pull out a chair for her.
After finishing her meal, Shangguan Yanran followed Fu Rongchen out of Wangchun Tower, then said goodbye, "I'll head back now."
Fu Rongchen glanced at her and suddenly said, "Didn't you want to go to the night market yesterday? It's still early, let's go together."

Fu Rongchen's gaze lingered on her pouting pink lips for a moment, and for some reason, he felt a little thirsty.
His Adam's apple bobbed, and he looked away. "In short, she's not quite the Shangguan Yanran I used to know."
Shangguan Yanran scoffed, "You talk as if you know me very well."
“Yes, I really don’t know you very well.” Fu Rongchen nodded. “So, I want to get to know you better now.”
Upon hearing this, Shangguan Yanran frowned. "What do you want to know about me?"
Fu Rongchen glanced at her with a smile but did not answer.
Not again?
Shangguan Yanran clutched her wildly beating heart.
Was Fu Rongchen really not trying to seduce her?
He smiled at her twice today...
But he said just yesterday that he didn't want to get married, so he probably didn't do it intentionally.
Thinking of this, a sense of loss washed over her, and she lowered her hand.
When the two arrived at the night market, it was already bustling with activity. The stalls on both sides of the street sold all sorts of things, including food, toys, and household items, making it difficult to choose what they wanted.
After walking around, Fu Rongchen was carrying a lot of things in his arms.
Shangguan Yanran turned around and saw it, blinked, and couldn't help but laugh out loud.
