“Idiot, tilting your head back won’t stop the bleeding; it will only make the blood flow into your stomach.” Rong Qingqing pressed her fingers on both sides of his nose, while her other hand went around to the back of his neck and gently patted it.
Xie Jingrun was taken aback and looked up at her.
After busying herself for a while, Rong Qingqing saw that his nose was bleeding less, so she squatted down in front of him, still a little worried. She took his two middle fingers, demonstrated, and instructed, "Cross them and pull hard." This was a method she had seen online before, but she didn't really know if it would work.
Xie Jingrun paused, looking at the girl's serious expression, and wondered if she was deliberately messing with her.
She thought this to herself, but her hands unconsciously did as she was told.

Rong Qingqing was stunned.
Xie Jingrun's lips moved as if he wanted to say something, but out of consideration, he swallowed the words back.
Finally, he simply raised his hand and patted her head. "It's nothing."
"Huh? Oh." Rong Qingqing had thought he had something to say to her, and she subconsciously held her breath. But when she heard him say that, she couldn't help but feel relieved, as well as a sense of loss that she couldn't understand even if she knew it.
“Well, His Majesty said that if we catch fewer prey than them, we will be punished. We haven’t caught a single prey yet, so let’s hurry up and go hunting.” Remembering what Emperor Zhaojing had said, Rong Qingqing became anxious and struggled to get up from his arms.
Xie Jingrun glanced down at her, then finally let go.
As soon as Rong Qingqing gained her freedom, she ran away.
Xie Jingrun did not rush to get up. He leaned against the tree trunk and watched the girl walk away. Suddenly, he felt a little lost and lonely.
