Chapter 374 Limb Degeneration

As Hua Bao spoke, she picked up a black cloak with red fox fur trim and asked, "Miss, take a look, do you like it?"

"It looks beautiful, I like it, thank you for embroidering it for me, Hua Bao."

Looking at the purple orchid, Mo Lan helplessly rubbed her head. Granny Jiang, standing to the side, was also speechless. However, it was the young lady's first day back, so it was alright for her to be a little smug.

With the two men serving her, Mo Lan drank a bowl of sweet soup, ate some soft and glutinous pastries, and then took a comfortable hot bath. After she lay comfortably on the kang (a heated brick bed), she couldn't help but sigh that if she had stayed at home for too long, her limbs would have definitely atrophied.

With two diligent servants and several helpful women, her life couldn't be more comfortable.

Back home, I completely relaxed, snuggled into the warm, cozy blankets, and soon drifted off to sleep.

Nothing happened that night. When she opened her eyes, the first thing she saw was Hua Bao's radiant face.

"Miss, you're awake?"

When Hua Bao saw Mo Lan open her eyes, she quickly brought over some warm clothes from the head of the kang (heated brick bed). The inner garment had a layer of cotton padding, and the outer garment had frayed edges. She had a cotton overcoat when going out, and a heated kang when staying indoors, so she wasn't worried about getting cold at all.

After being helped into her clothes by Hua Bao, Mo Lan washed up and then Grandma Jiang brought over breakfast: red bean buns, cured meat buns, scallion rolls, and red date and millet porridge.

After breakfast, Hua Fengyu brought Tingyu over. "Little sister, is there anything you're missing? I'll have someone prepare it for you later."

"With Hua Bao and Granny Jiang, we lack nothing." Whether I come back or not, these two will do whatever they need to do, and they will have everything they need, including clothes and shoes.

Looking at Mo Lan, Ting Yu couldn't help but tease, "Only now that I'm back here do I realize who you are, the mountain king."

Surrounded by a group of people, pampered by a group of people, and spoiled by the eldest brother, life is so carefree.

"If you like, you can stay here. We would be very happy to have you." Mo Lan looked at Ting Yu and a rare smile of contentment appeared on her face.

"Forget it, it's too cold here. I still prefer the warm, spring-like Jiangnan region." Tingyu said, pretending to wrap her cloak tighter around herself. Just then, she noticed the water lilies displayed inside Molan's room.

"You actually grow water lilies? They look pretty good." These things are not easy to grow; they are usually only found in the water towns of Jiangnan.

"It was a gift from someone else. They like to take a pot with them," Mo Lan said, and then sent Hua Bao and Granny Jiang out the door.

"My brother is here, why don't you take his pulse?"

"Ahem~, little sister, Brother Tingyu has already shown it to me, no need to trouble yourself." Hua Fengyu looked at Mo Lan with an embarrassed expression.

Mo Lan pretended not to see it, "I've seen it. How is it? Can it be cured?"

However, this question wasn't directed at the elder brother, but rather at Tingyu, who is a doctor and has the authority to speak on the matter.

“I rarely see this kind of symptom of loss of the five senses. It’s not that it can’t be treated, but I need to think about it carefully and take a look at the notes my master left me.”

He knew why he was there, and early in the morning, he pulled Hua Fengyu aside to take his pulse.

Although this young master is relatively weak, with proper rest and recuperation, there shouldn't be any major problems.

Of course, he accidentally discovered other problems, and now he's wondering how best to explain them to a girl.

Mo Lan was taken aback when she heard Ting Yu's explanation. Why did she need to consult medical books to ask him to come and treat her?

Cramming at the last minute?

Is it reliable or not?

When Tingyu saw Molan's expression, his face immediately darkened. This woman was questioning his medical skills.
