When Uncle Li returned home, Aunt Li was a little surprised to see him come back alone. "Where are Xiao Gu and the children? Haven't they come back?"
Uncle Li was dumbfounded. "They haven't come back yet? How is that possible!"
"I've been waiting here for you, not even a fly has flown past. Are you saying I missed you?"
Uncle Li's old face showed some hesitation. "Could it be that Xiao Gu doesn't want to come back?"
If it were anyone else, Aunt Li wouldn't say for sure, but since it was Gu An'an who did this, Aunt Li felt it wasn't impossible. "It really is true. Aunt Li was stumped by the question, and after a long while, she gritted her teeth and stamped her foot, "If that's really the case, then we absolutely have to help Xiao Gu!"
Uncle Li was both amused and exasperated by his wife's direct gaze. "Of course I'll listen to you. We'll definitely help Xiao Gu and the children."
"That's more like it." Aunt Li glared at her, then turned her head and saw Jiang Ersao coming over. Her smile instantly vanished—what was she doing here?
