Qian Qian came over to call us for dinner, "Weren't you always saying you were hungry? Why are you pestering your senior brother endlessly?"
Lin Wanwan sighed, "I'm so eager to learn. My senior brother is so amazing, I have to take every opportunity to learn more from him."
"It's not like we'll never see each other again, let's eat quickly."
Lin Wanwan turned around and hugged Lu Feng, acting coquettishly, "I'm so tired. Where did you go this afternoon? Why didn't you tell me?"
Seeing her like this, Lu Feng's expression softened a little. "Big brother might be coming back soon. I left in such a hurry that I forgot to leave a note while you were still sleeping."
He patted her back and hugged her, and Lin Wanwan nestled into his arms. Lu Feng asked her, "Did you run into Yin Meiyue and Li Jun this afternoon?"
"Yeah, I heard them plotting something."
“My brother told me that we will investigate. Don’t go out by yourself recently. Call me if you need to go anywhere.”
Lin Wanwan nodded. "I understand. I'm a key person under protection, right?"
"Time to eat, you're a key person under protection," Lu Feng said, leading her to the restaurant.
After finishing her meal, Lin Wanwan felt lazy and didn't want to move, but Qian Qian urged her to get up, "Let's go for a half-hour walk."
Lu Feng led Zhou Lin Wanwan around the yard, asking, "You seem to really like Cheng Jinyan?"
Lin Wanwan gave him a strange look. "Didn't I say that my senior brother is very capable? I need to learn from him."
Lin Wanwan took his hand, "We'll both be living on campus when school starts, I'll miss you, Lu Feng."
Lu Feng felt guilty and hugged her, saying, "I'm sorry I can't be by your side because you're pregnant. Call me if you need anything, and I'll give you my dorm number right away."
"Why apologize? We're both striving for a better future. As long as you include me in your future plans, that's enough."
Lu Feng lowered his head and kissed the top of her head. Cheng Jinyan turned to look out the window and saw this scene.
He seemed genuinely envious, and longed to have someone to stroll with in the yard after dinner, heading towards the unknown future together.
