Lu Feng and Lin Wanwan's wedding was very simple. There was no ceremony; they just invited relatives and friends to dinner, and most of them were guests from the Lin family.
The Lu family has very few relatives and friends. They severed ties with all those who should have done so when the Lu family suffered misfortune. Now that the Lu family has been exonerated and Lu Feng has a bright future, there are countless people who want to curry favor with him.
Song Lanzhi was most afraid of uninvited guests, which would cause an unpleasant scene.

The two families were toasting each table with their wine glasses when a haughty lady walked in. She looked somewhat like Lu Feng.

Lin Wanwan pulled Lu Feng along quickly, explaining to him as they walked, "Let's go together, don't let her bully Mom."
As soon as Lin Wanwan walked over, she heard Lu Feng's aunt ask arrogantly, "Song Lanzhi, what's going on with you? Lu Feng's wedding is such a big event, how come you didn't inform us?"
Seeing that Song Lanzhi was about to speak, Lin Wanwan immediately stepped forward and took her arm. "Mom, who is this? Didn't you say that all my relatives had cut off ties with me? Could it be that they're here to freeload?"
Song Lanzhi's expression softened when she saw Lin Wanwan approaching.
"Song Lanzhi, is this the wife you carefully selected for Lu Feng? There's no pattern to it at all, she's a disgrace to the Lu family," Lu Xiaoman said, pointing at Lin Wanwan's nose.
Lin Wanwan tugged at Song Lanzhi, telling her to stop talking, and fanned her face with her hand. "Auntie, your breath is so bad. Do you have indigestion? Do you know how bad your breath is? Why are you talking so loudly to people? Are you trying to suffocate us?" She then fanned her face with her hand again.
Lu Xiaoman was so angry that her face turned red. "I'm Lu Feng's aunt. How dare you talk to me like that? You ill-mannered brat!" She raised her hand to slap him.
Lu Feng was about to step forward to block him when he was startled by a crisp slap.
Before her slap could land, Lin Wanwan slapped her back.
"You—" Lu Xiaoman was stunned by the slap.
Lin Wanwan shook her hand, "You hit me and it hurts!" Lin Rui suddenly raised her voice, "What do you mean 'you'? My mother told me before that when the Lu family was in trouble, you were the first to cut ties with the family. You're not here to take advantage of the Lu family now that Lu Feng has been exonerated, are you? You tried to hit me right away. You're so fierce, Ms. Lu."
Upon hearing Lin Wanwan's words, everyone present looked at Lu Xiaoman with strange eyes.
“Ms. Lu, you wrote a letter of severance ten years ago. Should I read it to you? Or is Ms. Lu so forgetful that she has forgotten so quickly?” Song Lanzhi said in a calm tone.
Lu Xiaoman's face turned red with anger. "Don't think that just because my older brother is dead you can seize the Lu family's property. I also have the surname Lu."
Lin Wanwan was shocked. "So she really is here to freeload! Mom, she's here to freeload!"
Song Lanzhi found it amusing, but she didn't show it on her face. She kept a straight face and said, "So this is why Ms. Lu came here. When you severed ties with our family, the Lu family had already split up. Ms. Lu, are you trying to bully us, a widow and her children, because we have no one to back us up?"
The guests at the scene began to point and whisper about her, and Lu Xiaoman felt that she had lost all face today.
"Ms. Lu, you're so vicious! We didn't even invite you to the wedding today, and you still showed up by yourself. You even said that our aunt brought the wedding gift money with her?" Lin Wanwan looked her up and down. "You're not really here to freeload, are you?"
"You brat, what are you saying? You have no manners at all. When did our Lu family fall so low that we have to marry a daughter-in-law like you?" Lu Xiaoman was trembling with anger.
"I thought Lu Feng was considerate, gentlemanly, well-mannered, and intelligent. I assumed all members of the Lu family were like that. But I was wrong. It turns out that even a family with strict discipline can produce scoundrels," Lin Wanwan retorted.
Lu Feng chuckled inwardly, then put his arm around her shoulder. "Alright, don't talk so much to strangers, Mom. Let's go, let's continue toasting."
"Ms. Lu, please. You are not welcome here," Song Lanzhi said, directly seeing her out.
"Lu Feng, you won't blame me for hitting your aunt, will you? She started it, I was just retaliating," Lin Wanwan said, linking her arm with his.
After getting married, Lin Wanwan was to go back to the Lu family with Lu Feng. The two arrived home very late. The room had been simply decorated with bright red wedding quilts and pillows.
“This wedding quilt is very beautiful, the embroidery is excellent,” Lin Wanwan said, touching the quilt.
“You have a really good eye. These were all prepared by my mother. They were all embroidered by experienced embroiderers. It seems that her hard work paid off,” Lu Feng said, leaning over to hug her.
Lin Wanwan turned her head and hooked her arm around his neck, "You haven't showered yet, honey, you're all sweaty."
Lu Feng lowered his head and kissed the corner of her mouth. "We'll shower together in a bit."
"Ah~ Lu Feng, don't you dare tear my cheongsam! If you ruin it, I'll never forgive you!!!"
"Buy ten more if they break."
When Lin Wanwan woke up the next day, her body felt like it had been run over by a car, and it was almost falling apart.
Lin Wanwan noticed that Lu Feng wasn't in the room, so she turned over, intending to go back to sleep. However, she was so hungry that she couldn't fall asleep, but she also didn't want to get up.
When Lu Feng entered the room, he saw Lin Wanwan tossing and turning on the bed.
"Why aren't you up now that you're awake? Get up and eat something," Lu Feng lowered his head to kiss her. Lin Wanwan was a little out of breath and reached out to push him away.
Lu Feng kissed her for a while before letting go. Lin Wanwan, panting, reached out to hit him, "What are you doing? I'm about to run out of breath."
