Jin Ling was surprised by her words and stared blankly at the documents in front of her.
She...didn't she consider me a good friend before? How could she say that her feelings for me aren't that important?
Lin Wanwan didn't have time to care about her sensitive thoughts. She had spent too much time on company matters before, so now she had to focus on her studies.
Even after get off work, Lin Wanwan was still engrossed in translating. These seemingly boring translation tasks were actually quite interesting to her, and she could gain something different every day.
Some of the company's regular employees quite liked Lin Wanwan.
She's beautiful, has a sweet tongue, and can make people happy. She's also very polite and humble when asking for favors.
"Xiao Lin, it's time to get off work, aren't you leaving yet?"

Lin Wanwan then looked up and saw Cheng Jinyan had arrived. She didn't say anything and quickly finished up.
Stretching, Lin Wanwan packed her things and locked them in the closet.
"Are you done with work?"
"No, I'll do it tomorrow."
She stood up, grabbed her bag, and urged Cheng Jinyan, "Hurry up, Grandma must have made sweet and sour pork ribs, I'm hungry."
Cheng Jinyan glanced at Jin Ling, who was biting her lip, and then followed Lin Wanwan out of the office.
"Aren't you going to avoid suspicion anymore?"
Lin Wanwan rolled her eyes. "Everyone knows that if I'm too deliberate, people will think I'm just putting on an act."
Cheng Jinyan reached out and tapped her on the head. "Don't roll your eyes. You look awful."
"If you don't want to flip it, then don't. Why are you hitting me? Have you knocked me stupid?"
Today, Xu Zhe called Cheng Jinyan and invited them to dinner.
When Lu Feng saw Cheng Jinyan return with her, he instinctively went over and put his arm around Lin Wanwan, asking, "Are you tired?"
"It's alright," Lin Wanwan leaned against him as if she had no bones.
"Has Big Brother arrived?"
"He's here. You need to see him?"
Lu Anyang was chatting with Xu Zhe in the living room.
The two families have a good relationship and often eat together. Lu Anyang is knowledgeable, highly educated, and speaks eloquently. Xu Zhe and Qian Qian both like him very much.
Hearing her ask him at the door, Lu Anyang peeked out and asked, "Do you need something from me again?"
Lin Wanwan immediately ran over with a grin, "We're all family, why are you asking for anything?"

Cheng Jinyan sat down with Gu Bei and said with a smile, "I agree with what your brother said."
Lin Wanwan immediately wailed, "How could you do this to me? Are you bullying me?"
Xu Zhe laughed for a while and then asked, "When does school start?"
"It'll be soon, school starts in a week."
How's work?
Lin Wanwan said with a smile, "It's very interesting. There are new things to learn every day."
Cheng Jinyan was a little surprised. The people they recruited were doing simple yet tedious work, and she actually found it interesting?
Unable to resist asking, "What's so interesting about it?"
Lin Wanwan shared some interesting things she had seen while translating recently, picking out the most interesting ones to tell them.
Xu Zhe laughed and said, "That's quite interesting. I heard from Hu Qing that you all do some simple translation work, and I was worried that you would be bored."
"No, it's quite interesting. I saw some materials about folk customs, which are really interesting. I've copied them all down and I'm going to organize them when school starts."
Xu Zhe was very satisfied. "Your attitude is very good. You are all still in the basic learning stage. Don't underestimate any job. You will have opportunities only by accumulating experience."
Lin Wanwan said with a smile, "I know, Grandpa, I will study hard."
"Has anyone said you got in through connections?" Xu Zhe looked at her with a half-smile.
"Of course there are, there are plenty."
Are there any difficulties?
"What's so difficult about that? I got in based on my own merit, ranking first overall. Besides, there's no such thing as gossip anywhere. Even if I graduate and get into the Ministry of Foreign Affairs through proper channels, people will still talk about me. So what? Let them talk. I keep my public and private life very separate. Whether they like me or what they say behind my back is not important to me at all. What matters is whether I do my job well."
"You're so easygoing. What if they don't like you and aren't cooperative at work?" Gu Bei asked her with a smile.
Lin Wanwan looked at him strangely, "They're so unprofessional? Then we'll have to talk to Director Cheng. How do you manage your subordinates? So unprofessional."
Xu Zhe pointed at her and laughed, "You have no manners."
Lu Anyang jokingly added, "So you're saying you can separate public and private matters, and cooperate with people you don't like to get the job done?"
Lin Wanwan's eyes darted around. "That's not necessarily true. If this were my turf, I wouldn't make things difficult for anyone. I just rejected my rival's interview application."
