Lin Wanwan sat up in bed and looked around.
This...this is a hospital?
Looking at the surrounding instruments and the needles in his hand.
Lin Wanwan was momentarily dazed. Wasn't she sleeping in bed with Lu Feng?
Watching the doctors and nurses rush in and out.
What's wrong with me?
Suddenly, her parents' faces appeared before her. Oh, not He Yumei and Lin Jianbang, but her former parents, the ones who treated her like a football.
Could it be that I was just having a dream, without Lu Feng, Tuanzi and Yuanyuan, without Song Lanzhi and Lu Anyang?
Lin Wanwan looked coldly at the two people in front of her.
What's wrong with me?
“We received a call from the hospital saying that you collapsed at home and have been in a coma for a month.”
"A month, it's only been a month..."
"Wanwan, what did you say?"
Just as Lin Wanwan was about to speak, she heard Lu Feng calling her name.
Struggling to get up, Lin Wanwan was held down by a group of people, and she heard Lu Feng's voice becoming more and more anxious.
He struggled to stand up, but a wave of dizziness caused him to fall back onto the bed. He tried to speak, but was gradually swallowed by darkness and lost consciousness.
"Wanwan~"
Lin Wanwan lifted her heavy eyelids and looked in the direction of the sound.
"Lu Feng~"
Lu Feng reached out and took her hand. "I'm here."
Lin Wanwan burst into tears immediately; she thought she was really dreaming.
"What's wrong? Where does it hurt?"
Lu Feng leaned close to her ear and whispered a question.
"I'll go get the doctor, wait for me."
Lin Wanwan grabbed him, "It's okay, I just... just had a nightmare."
Lu Feng slowly breathed a sigh of relief.
"You scared me to death! I woke up this morning and you weren't moving. I couldn't wake you up no matter what I did. The doctor said you're fine, you're probably just tired."
Lin Wanwan stopped crying, her throat a little dry and hoarse.
How long did I sleep?
Lu Feng glanced at his watch. "It's already past 4 PM."
He lowered his head and kissed her forehead. "Is anything bothering you?"
Lin Wanwan shook her head, "I'm fine."
Lu Feng kissed her. "I'll go call the doctor first, and then I need to tell Mom. She was terrified this morning."
Lin Wanwan nodded. "My parents don't know, right?"
"I told Mom not to tell them yet, so they wouldn't worry."
She watched as he kissed the back of his hand, then turned and left.
The doctor examined him and smiled, saying, "Mr. Lin is fine, just a little weak. Have you been too busy lately?"
He turned and said a few words to Lu Feng, then left with the nurse.
"Did you hear that? The doctor told you to rest more and not to be so busy in the future."
Lin Wanwan smiled, her eyes narrowing. "Then I'll try my best. When can I go home?"
"The doctor said you don't feel unwell, so you can go home now."
Lin Wanwan tugged at him and said coquettishly, "Then I want to go back now. I'm hungry. I want to eat braised pork and spicy fish."
Lu Feng looked down and chuckled, "You can still think about eating now, so it seems your body is really fine."
The two returned home, and Song Lanzhi was waiting for them at the door.
Lin Wanwan immediately got out of the car to help her, "Mom, it's windy outside, what are you doing standing here?"
"Oh dear, if they hadn't told me not to go to the hospital, I would have gone already. Why would I be waiting here? Are you alright?" He then looked her up and down.
Lin Wanwan spread her arms out to show her, "Let's go inside and talk, it's cold outside."
Song Lanzhi hurriedly pulled her into the house, saying, "Come on, come on, don't catch a cold if you blow on the wind. You're usually healthy, but when you get sick, it's terrifying. You couldn't be woken up in the morning, it scared people to death."
"Mom, it's okay. The doctor said I'm just too tired and I just need to rest more."
Song Lanzhi patted her, "You're just too ambitious, always busy like a spinning top."
"Mom, how can you describe someone like that?"
Lu Anyang and Zhang Junyi came downstairs. "Don't get sick again. Those two little ones are gone. You're Mom's precious baby. If you get sick again, Mom will get sick too."
Song Lanzhi said irritably, "What nonsense are you talking about? Wanwan has always been our precious daughter."
During the meal, Song Lanzhi and Lu Feng kept putting food on her plate.
Lin Wanwan thought to herself, whether it's a dream or not, at least these warm family members are real, and the happiness she feels is real too.
I hope I can always be this happy.
