Lin Wanwan hugged him and nodded. Lu Feng looked down at her and asked, "Are you tired?"
"A little bit."
"I'm sorry to have troubled you this year. If you weren't here, you could have spent the New Year with me. There's nothing here."
“I’m not upset at all. If we don’t have it, we’ll just buy it. I’m not upset at all about spending the New Year with you.”
Lu Feng hugged her and chuckled. After putting down his luggage at home, he went to Xu Zhang's house.
Xu Zhang prepared a large table of dishes. "Are you tired? Sit down and eat something."
As Gu Changfeng ate, he asked, "Is that child alright?"
"It's alright. When Wanwan and I left, we were already out of danger."
Xu Zhang nodded and said, "It's good that everything is alright. If something had happened to the child, the parents would have been heartbroken."
The two finished their meal and went home early, then washed up and rested.
The next day, Lu Feng went to the army base, and Qin Ziyi arrived right after.
Before even sitting down, the person looked at Lin Wanwan excitedly and said, "Thanks to your books, I think I should be able to pass the exam."
"As long as you get in, that's fine. It won't be a waste of your two months of studying. Which school are you planning to apply to?"
Lin Wanwan poured her a cup of tea and sat on the recliner, lazily yawning.
"I'm getting ready to go to Beijing to find you!"
"Not going back to Shanghai?"
"I can go back to Shanghai anytime, but I can't go to universities in Beijing anytime."
Lin Wanwan yawned again and said lazily, "Then congratulations in advance."
Seeing her like this, Qin Ziyi approached her with a lewd look and poked her shoulder.
"Your Battalion Commander Lu is quite the expert in bed, isn't he? Look at how listless you look, have you been indulging in too much sex?"
Lin Wanwan blushed, "What nonsense are you talking about? I'm just too tired from the long journey."
"Then tell me quietly, how good is your Battalion Commander Lu in bed?"
Lin Wanwan saw her leering smile and didn't intend to pay her any attention.
