Lu Feng drove to a large bookstore and very gentlemanly opened the car door for Lin Wanwan.
Lin Wanwan helped him out of the car, smiling happily, "Thanks, fiancé."
Lu Feng raised an eyebrow but didn't say anything, and followed Lin Wanwan into the bookstore.
Looking at the huge bookstore, Lin Wanwan was momentarily bewildered. She looked at Lu Feng and asked, "I'm not going to have to search for each book myself, am I? It'll take me forever to find them all."
"Wait here, I'll go ask. Sit over there so you don't get bumped into," Lu Feng instructed.
Lin Wanwan nodded and sat in the seat he indicated. As she watched Lu Feng carefully ask the sales clerk, Lin Wanwan couldn't quite describe her feelings.
It seems pretty good. She has a considerate and gentle husband to live with. Lin Wanwan thought about it and it really seemed pretty good.
Lin Wanwan had no time to date in her previous life and had no experience whatsoever. She didn't know what kind of relationship was beautiful, nor did she know what it felt like for two people to be together.
All she knew was that at this moment, right now, she was quite happy because of Lu Feng.
Lu Feng walked over and bent down to tell her where the study materials were. Lin Wanwan stood up and said, "Let's go take a look. I want to buy more. It will be harder to buy them in Gansu Province. I want to bring them all over with me."
Lu Feng nodded, "Okay, buy more. Taking the college entrance exam is a good thing, I support you."
Lin Wanwan turned her head and asked him, "What if I don't pass the exam? Will you think I'm stupid?"
Lu Feng couldn't help but chuckle when he heard her ask that question; she didn't seem like the type of person to ask such a question.
"Will you be upset by my evaluation?" Lu Feng asked her.
Lin Wanwan thought for a moment and said, "I won't be upset by what others say, but you are my husband, the person I'm going to live with. Of course I'll be upset if you say bad things about me."
When Lu Feng heard her call him "husband," his heart skipped a beat, and his face flushed.
“I think whether you’re stupid or not, good or bad, has nothing to do with whether you can get into university. A person’s value cannot be determined by a single college entrance exam,” Lu Feng replied seriously.
Hearing him say that, Lin Wanwan was genuinely happy. He had good values and was considerate. No wonder he was the male lead I wrote. He was a high-quality human being, hahaha.
Lin Wanwan kept rummaging through the bookshelf looking for some useful books, including Lin Xiaohai's.
Lin Wanwan looked up, about to say something to Lu Feng, when she heard a sweet, cloying voice and saw a girl dressed like a butterfly rushing towards Lu Feng, the air filled with a cloying floral scent.
"Brother Lu Feng~ What are you doing here?" Yin Meiyue said, reaching out to take Lu Feng's arm.
Lu Feng took a step back to avoid him, and Yin Meiyue stood there stunned, looking at him with teary eyes as if she had suffered a great injustice. "Brother Lu Feng, why do you always avoid me?"
Lin Wanwan was originally prepared to watch the show, but the fragrance was so strong that she couldn't help but sneeze. "Achoo~ Achoo~" She sneezed twice before she felt a little better.
Seeing that she was cold after sneezing, Lu Feng took her hand and asked in a low voice, "Do you have a cold?"
Lin Wanwan quickly shook her head and whispered in his ear, "No, it's just that this rival's perfume was too strong, I couldn't resist."
When Lu Feng heard her call Yin Meiyue her rival "sister," he held back his laughter, but the smile on his lips grew wider and wider.
Seeing that he was trying not to laugh, Lin Wanwan quietly poked his waist with her finger. "If you want to laugh, just laugh. Why are you pretending to be so serious?"
When she poked Lu Feng's waist, Lu Feng stiffened for a moment.
"Brother Lu Feng, who is this?" Yin Meiyue asked, her voice trembling with tears, as if she had suffered a great humiliation.
"This lady smells so good! When I first came in, the store smelled of books, but now it smells like you," Lin Wanwan said with a smile.
Yin Meiyue could tell that she was being sarcastic, but with Lu Feng there, she had to maintain her composure at all times and didn't want to be impolite.
"Who is this? Brother Lu Feng, I don't think I've seen him before," Yin Meiyue continued in a soft voice.
"Don't you recognize me, sister? You slapped me in public last month. And sister, you keep calling me 'brother, brother,' people who don't know better would think you're about to lay an egg," Lin Wanwan stepped forward and took Lu Feng's arm, her face beaming.
Several onlookers couldn't help but burst out laughing.
Yin Meiyue was furious. She pointed at Lin Wanwan and said, "Who are you? Why are you holding hands with Brother Lu Feng?" After saying that, she seemed to remember what Lin Wanwan had just said, and her face turned red.
"Sister, are you really going to lay an egg? And it's in your brother's arm," Lin Wanwan tilted her head and leaned against Lu Feng's arm.
Lu Feng was secretly laughing. Without even looking at Yin Meiyue, he reached out and put his arm around Lin Wanwan's waist, and Lin Wanwan leaned against him.
Yin Meiyue was so angry that her hands trembled. Who was this woman? Why was Lu Feng holding her?
"You shameless woman!" Yin Meiyue was about to say something when Lu Feng interrupted her.
Lu Feng, his face grim, growled, "Comrade, please have some self-respect! This is my wife. If you insult my wife again, be careful, or I won't be polite to you!!"
Yin Meiyue's eyes widened. Wife?! Wasn't Lu Feng engaged to that Lin Wanwan? This woman?! Yin Meiyue looked closely, and realized it was that bitch Lin Wanwan.
"You don't recognize me anymore after slapping me? Your memory is really bad, I remember everything," Lin Wanwan said, secretly pleased as she looked at Lu Feng's distorted face. This Lu Feng was quite perceptive.
"Honey, let's hurry up and leave after we buy the books. I'm afraid she'll hit me again," Lin Wanwan said to Lu Feng in a low, aggrieved voice.
