Chapter 82 Little Green Tea

Lin Wanwan sneered, "Whether you did it on purpose or accidentally, we'll talk about that later. You don't really think I need a script to broadcast, do you?"

Without waiting for anyone's reaction, he went straight to the broadcasting room.

I adjusted the equipment, checked it, unscrewed the cup, took a small sip of water, looked at the time, took a deep breath, turned on the main switch, smiled, and began the broadcast.

"Good morning, everyone. I'm Lin Wanwan, the broadcaster from the radio station. It's been a long time since I've seen you all. I hope you all still remember me. Today's radio program is..."

When Lin Wanwan's voice came out, her pronunciation was clear and fluent, without any pauses, as smooth and vivid as listening to a babbling brook.

The voice is not too stiff or soft, but rather neutral, and remains focused without being scattered.

Some people in the office had heard Lin Wanwan's broadcasts before, while others were hearing them for the first time, and everyone was surprised.

I didn't expect her to be so amazing. She can write a script in just one hour and then deliver it verbally without a script.

Qian Senlin leaned back in his chair, sipping his tea, looking completely at ease, and becoming more and more satisfied as he listened.

After finishing the script, it was almost time to finish, so Lin Wanwan added her own closing remarks.

After finishing the broadcast and packing up her things to return to the office, Lin Wanwan could sense that several people's gazes towards her had changed.

Lin Wanwan ignored all of this and returned to her seat to continue writing.

Qian Senlin came out and asked, "Where's your manuscript? Let me see it. Has it been revised? It's different from the previous version."

Lin Wanwan didn't even look up. "The manuscript? Ask Lu Lili, ask her for it."

Qian Senlin looked at Lu Lili with a strange expression. "Where's the manuscript?"

Lu Lili was startled. "I didn't take it. I didn't take it."

Qian Senlin stared at her with a stern face, saying nothing.

"Station Chief Qian, I accidentally spilled water on Director Lin's manuscript just now, I'm sorry."

"When?" Qian Senlin was furious. These idiots couldn't do anything right. The manuscript had to be kept on file. Even if Lin Wanwan left, it would still be a model for learning.

"You're all talk and no action, you're good for nothing but causing trouble, you idiot!!"

Lu Lili was really scared to tears this time. "When Director Lin came into the broadcasting room, I thought she would be scolded. Why not just have her write it again?"

Qian Senlin was so angry that he almost fell over. Before he could say anything, Lin Wanwan spoke up.

"What? Should I thank you? You soaked my script, and now I have to rewrite it myself? Who's going to take responsibility if I can't remember the script and it causes a broadcast delay?"

"Are you still me? You have no knowledge whatsoever, all you know is how to play mind games. You should spend more time reading books."

Tears welled up in Lu Lili's eyes. She had always been pampered by her family and had never heard anyone say such a thing to her before.

"I didn't do it on purpose, did you have to say it like that?"

"If it wasn't intentional, then be more careful. If you wet the manuscript, you made a mistake. What does that have to do with whether it was intentional or not?"

"Whether it was intentional or not is a matter of character, not right or wrong. If you do something wrong, apologize. Don't try to find excuses to shirk responsibility."

Lin Wanwan glanced at Lu Lili, then continued writing what she was doing. "Crying and sobbing makes it seem like I'm the one who bullied you. If you're really upset, why don't you go home and cry in your parents' arms?"

He handed the completed document to Qian Senlin, saying, "Here you go, do you want to keep a copy?"

"You finished writing it so quickly?" Qian Senlin was surprised.

"Hmm, it's written very hastily. You should arrange for someone to transcribe it, and I also need to keep a copy for myself."

"You can arrange it yourself."

Lin Wanwan glanced at everyone in the room. "I wouldn't dare. If I start crying and accusing you of bullying me, and then I go home crying, the whole compound will gossip about it, and I'll end up with a reputation for being mean."

Qian Senlin chuckled inwardly. "Bai Ying, come here."

Lin Wanwan saw a girl with short, ear-length hair running over and saying in a cheerful voice, "Director Lin, my name is Bai Ying."

Seeing that she spoke fluently, Lin Wanwan greeted her with a smile, "Hello."

"Station Chief Qian, you were looking for me?"

"Okay, from now on you will be our assistant and learn from Director Lin. Lu Lili, you will be in charge of miscellaneous office work, and Bai Ying will take care of the assistant's work."

Bai Ying nodded quickly, "Okay, stationmaster, I will learn diligently from Director Lin."

Lin Wanwan looked at her with a smile and said, "I'm very fierce and have high standards, so be prepared."

Bai Ying nodded, "Only by setting high standards can we make progress. Director Lin is so capable, I will definitely learn from him."

"Okay, please transcribe this manuscript for me. Don't make the handwriting too messy, as the company needs to keep a copy."

Bai Ying nodded, took the manuscript, and happily returned to her seat.

"Come to my office, we need to have a meeting."

Lin Wanwan sighed and followed him into the office.

"It's been a whole morning, what are your thoughts?"

Lin Wanwan took a sip of water before slowly saying, "They really are all idiots, especially that Lu Lili. Who is she?"

"The daughter of a brigade commander, her father was also an incompetent fool, and so was she."

"Hahaha, that's not a good way to put it, you old man."

"Don't say that, what's your opinion?"

"You want me to take on everything, and I can do that, but if you want to train people, you'll have to think of other ways."

"Of course I know that, it's these idiots who don't."

"Let's start with Bai Ying then. If you trust me, leave it to me. I can give it a try."

"I'm relieved to hear that. I'm leaving it to you. Just come to me when you need me."
