Chapter 177: Like a Fairyland, But More Like Hell

The beluga whale leaped off the roof.

“Your Highness, it’s a mouse,” said the white whale, picking up the mouse in its hand. “Your Highness, don’t be afraid.”

It turned out to be just a mouse.

Consort Shu's heart, which had been hanging in suspense, was relieved: "Since it is here to burn incense and pray for blessings, we must not take its life. Just keep it far away and don't let it continue to walk around on the roof."

"Yes, Your Highness." The white whale, carrying the mouse, had just stepped out of the meditation room.

It seemed to be startled, twisting its body rapidly and making a "squeaking" sound.

The beluga whale picked it up with a somewhat indescribable expression and said impatiently, "Little thing, our Consort Shu is merciful. Didn't you hear me? She won't take your life. What are you yelling for?"

The mouse didn't seem to understand what he was saying.

It continued to twist its body rapidly, and the "squeaking" sound it made was even louder than before.

The beluga whale was too lazy to argue with him anymore and had only taken two steps.

His steps suddenly stopped, and he turned to look behind him.

It was pitch black, there was nothing there.

The beluga whale's eyes gradually narrowed into a straight line as it quickly scanned the bushes surrounding the meditation room.

After a while, he turned around and continued walking into the distance.

Nobody noticed.

A bright light flashed from the distant grass.

Mu Qianqian slept in a daze.

She dreamed that she was in front of an archway.

Surrounded by swirling smoke, it felt like a fairyland, yet also like hell.

Some were dressed in white clothes stained with blood, some had no arms, some had only half a body left, and some even had no eyes and their faces were covered in blood.

One by one, they floated toward her from all directions.

Those people seemed to be transparent, able to pass right through her body.

It seems to exist in reality.

They were muttering something to themselves.

Mu Qianqian couldn't hear clearly.

"Who are you? Why are you in my dream?" Mu Qianqian asked in astonishment.

She reached out and tried to grab someone to ask what was going on.

No matter how hard she tried, she couldn't catch a single one.

A blinding ray of light.

The mist around her instantly dissipated.

She felt as if she had been knocked back by a tremendous force.

When I opened my eyes again.

Before her eyes appeared the gentle and kind smile of Consort Shu: "Qianqian, it's time to get up. Master Wuyu will be holding a special ceremony for you to pray for blessings later. If you don't get up now, you'll miss your time."

Mu Qianqian thought she was seeing things, so she rubbed her eyes and looked around.

"Is Qianqian still half asleep?" Consort Shu affectionately picked her up from the bed. "Oh dear, what happened? Why are your clothes wet?"

Although it was summer, the meditation room was still a bit chilly at night.

The blanket given to Mu Qianqian was not thick.

How come the sweat has soaked through the entire back of my clothes?

"Bin'er, go and get a clean set of clothes. Qianqian is about to wet the bed," Consort Shu said to Bin'er as she turned around.

Mu Qianqian: !!!

Bedwetting!

Who wet the bed?

Mother, oh Mother!

Do you even have a shred of common sense?

Can't you tell the difference between sweating and bedwetting?

Don't assume she's wet the bed just because you notice her clothes are wet.

She is no longer a newborn baby.

She is a three-month-old baby.

She has her pride too, you know.

Mu Qianqian then realized.

It turns out she was dreaming last night.
