Chapter 17 Qiankun Bag

Jiaojiao remained calm in the face of a group of monkeys, but was wondering in her heart what had happened.

Using the wide sleeves, she felt around inside. A small pouch fell into her hand. Could it be... the legendary Qiankun bag? Jiaojiao thought she might be overthinking it. She already had a heaven-defying space, so why would she get a Qiankun bag?

She thought about it, but she didn't hesitate to confirm it. The small purse opened, revealing a huge space. Now, not only the monkey, but even she wanted to scream.

The big bird shook its body and suddenly flew up.

"Hey! Bird... Immortal? Where are you going?"

The big bird flew away without even looking back.

The monkeys never left Jiaojiao's side and stayed by her side all the time. However, she didn't need the monkeys for the time being!

The big bird had previously carried Jiaojiao to a stop halfway up the mountain. Now Jiaojiao could only walk down the mountain on her own two legs.

The mountain is rich in resources. In addition to various fruits, there are also many chestnuts. These are good things to help you avoid hunger. A few large chestnuts can be equivalent to a whole meal.

Should I pick some? Jiaojiao hesitated, it looked a bit prickly!

Perhaps she stayed under the chestnut tree for too long, and the leading little monkey jumped onto the chestnut tree and shook it.

Soon chestnuts fell all over the ground. Fortunately, Jiaojiao reacted quickly and dodged in time, otherwise she would have been injured by the chestnuts.

The ground was covered with chestnuts, but Jiaojiao just waved her little hand and they all disappeared. The monkeys were startled and jumped up and down again.

This chestnut tree is full of large, plump fruits, definitely better than the ones outside. Should we move a few trees out? There are mountains near Wangjia Village anyway, so chestnut trees are quite common.

But this one definitely won't do. This chestnut tree is thick and strong, its branches densely packed with plump chestnuts. It must have taken years to grow to this size.

Jiaojiao exclaimed, "This thousand-year-old tree has truly become a spirit!"

As soon as she finished speaking, the branches of the ordinary chestnut tree in front of her suddenly shook, and there was another burst of crackling rain of fruits, and the ground was covered with fruits.

"Tree spirit?" Jiaojiao called out again tentatively.

The chestnut tree shook itself and made a cheerful sound.

It really is... a tree spirit!

Well, it’s nothing new. We already have the bird fairy, so the tree spirit is not a big deal.

Jiaojiao looked at the chestnuts at her feet and asked, "Does the tree spirit want to give these little fur babies of yours to me?"

The chestnut tree shook its leaves again, and a shower of fruits fell.

Jiaojiao opened the Qiankun bag and said bluntly, "Then I will respectfully obey your command!"

She waved her hand, and the piles of chestnuts on the ground disappeared instantly.

"Tree spirit, I'm going to move a few of your descendants to the outside world to benefit mankind."

The chestnut tree's branches and leaves swayed. Jiaojiao selected a dozen small chestnut trees next to the main one and placed them in her Qiankun bag. These trees were already bearing fruit, and they had been moved out, waiting for the chestnuts to ripen and be eaten.

The little monkey following next to him squeaked.

Jiaojiao said goodbye to the tree spirit and continued down the mountain. The little monkey ran around her.

We stopped along the way and found a lot of pheasant eggs, bird eggs, honey and so on.

When we reached the foot of the mountain, we saw the peach forest in the distance. It was already very spectacular. At a glance, there were hundreds of peach trees.

I can’t eat peaches in the space anymore... Jiaojiao thought, otherwise the space would be full of peach trees.

The little monkeys squeaked, jumped and shouted, scratched their ears and cheeks, and drooled.

Huh? You want to eat peaches?

Jiaojiao picked a peach and threw it to the leading monkey, who ate it cleanly in no time. The other monkeys stared at him eagerly.

After the little monkey finished eating, the other monkeys all looked at Jiaojiao.

"Pick it yourselves!" Jiaojiao waved her hand and let the little monkeys pick peaches to eat by themselves.

A group of monkeys rushed towards the peach tree, squeaking excitedly.

The peaches were large, each about the size of a monkey's head. The monkeys were not greedy, and each monkey picked one and ate it quickly.

While the monkey was eating the peach, Jiaojiao looked around.

As the space expanded, the white mist had become too thin to be seen clearly, but it was still thick near the spiritual spring.

After eating the peaches, the monkeys ran to the spiritual spring, took a deep breath, closed their eyes and looked intoxicated.

Jiaojiao smiled and said, "You monkeys are quite smart. You know these are good things!"

After Jiaojiao finished speaking, she looked at the emerald green and golden fields beside her and felt worried. In the past, the space was small, so she could walk a few more times without any problem. Now with such a large space and so many crops, how can she harvest them?

Jiaojiao thought about the chestnut trees she had just harvested, and wondered if she could harvest the crops as she had done before.

She tried to wave at a field of golden wheat, but the wheat disappeared in an instant, leaving only a patch of black soil.

Wow~ That’s incredible!

Jiaojiao waved to the sweet potato field, then waved to the potatoes, waved to the pumpkins, waved to the yams, and finally waved to the shepherd's purse all over the ground.

Looking at the bare black soil in the space, Jiaojiao couldn't help but exclaim "Wow~" again. It's incredible!

Jiaojiao was not in a hurry to sow seeds. She came out of the space excitedly and went to share with her great-grandmother.

The house was quiet, no one was around. Jiaojiao walked around the yard with small steps, but couldn't find anyone. She didn't know where everyone in the family had gone. She was about to count on her fingers when a small voice came.

"Jiaojiao!" The little girl tiptoed out from outside the fence and stuck her head in. "Jiaojiao! Come out and play!"

Jiaojiao's eyes lit up and she nodded quickly: "Yeah, yeah!"
