Qin Suisui slept soundly until she was awakened by the arguing around her.
She pulled down her blindfold and looked toward the source of the sound, only to see the same woman who had asked her to give up her seat earlier, arguing with the flight attendant.
"I asked for Oobi, and you poured me a glass of cheap, domestic red wine?"
Wang Yuan looked at the flight attendant squatting beside her with an imposing gaze. She had been having a bad time since boarding the plane. Not only had she not been able to change seats, but the catering standards in business class were also inferior to those of international airlines abroad.
"And what is this?"
She picked at the beef on her plate with her knife and fork: "Is this beef? Is this beef even edible? Is it safe to eat well-done beef?"
The female flight attendant, suppressing her anger and with a smile, said, "Madam, I'm sorry, this is the standard for business class at China Airlines International. It's our fault for causing you inconvenience..."
Other passengers around Qin Suisui were also woken up from their sleep. After hearing the reason, most of them were speechless. It was completely the female passenger who was deliberately provoking them. China Airlines International's business meals have always been of this standard.
Wang Yuan was sensitive and quickly noticed the different gazes around her. She sensed the accusations and strange looks in other people's eyes, and her face flushed red as she glared around angrily.
She tried to ignore her inner hesitation and forced herself to remain calm: "I want to file a complaint, I'm going to file a complaint against you right now."
Out of the corner of her eye, she caught Qin Suisui looking at her with furrowed brows, and she was instantly filled with rage.
"What are you looking at? What's so interesting?"
"Okay, this is a lunatic," Qin Suisui raised her eyebrows in surprise, chuckled, pulled up her eye mask, tilted her head back, closed her eyes, and continued to sleep.
"You~"
Wang Yuan once again felt the pain of being ignored, as if she had returned to the orphanage where she was a child, and the inferiority complex of being rejected and ignored by everyone enveloped her whole body.
She gripped the armrest tightly, suppressing the anger surging in her chest. She controlled her emotions, knowing that this was an international flight and the passengers in business class were not ordinary people. If she made a scene now, she would not only be in trouble, but her father would also be displeased if he found out.
She gritted her teeth, glared hatefully at the beautiful woman sitting by the window, slapped the armrest in frustration, and lashed out at the flight attendant.
"Take it all away! Take it all away! International flights? They're not even as good as domestic flights in M country."
Her voice was sharp and sarcastic, which offended most of the Chinese passengers sitting in business class, and most of them looked at her with disgust.
"Madam, watch your attitude. If you continue to yell, don't blame me for being impolite."
The speaker was a burly middle-aged man who sat to Wang Yuan's right front. He turned to look at Wang Yuan with a cold and threatening gaze.
Wang Yuan was stunned by the chill that hit her face. Her mouth was slightly open, and her eyes were filled with fear. She stammered for a long time before daring not to shout any further.
"Phew~"
Qin Suisui took a deep breath and finally calmed down. She closed her eyes and fell asleep again.
She woke up again, startled by the airplane's announcement. The plane was almost over Huating, and the sweet-voiced flight attendant reminded passengers walking in the aisle to return to their seats.
The closer Qin Suisui got to Huating, the more restless she became. She had been away from Huating for five years, and the people in her memory seemed to have become blurry.
She still keeps in touch with Su Yue, but as time goes by, Jin Jin and Yang Lu's contact with each other becomes increasingly distant.
Joyce gave herself a week to rest during her trip back to Huating. She didn't plan to go straight back to work and instead planned to spend the week getting together with her friends.
As the plane landed, the first-class passengers disembarked and it was time for the business class to move on. She followed the crowd and walked forward in line. Coincidentally, the person in front of her in line was that noisy woman.
Wang Yuan turned around and glared at Qin Suisui. If this woman hadn't refused to switch places with her, she wouldn't have lost her temper because of her bad mood. If she hadn't lost her temper, she wouldn't have been embarrassed by everyone. It was all this woman's fault. She snorted angrily and quickened her pace toward the VIP passage.
Qin Suisui was startled by the inexplicable eye roll, wondering if the noisy woman in front of her had a problem with her brain.
She shook her head and gracefully followed them out of the VIP passage. After retrieving her luggage, she headed towards the exit.
As soon as Qin Suisui reached the exit, she saw staff from the Law Offices of Luo Dunhua looking around with a sign that read Sheffield's English name.
She walked towards him with a smile and stood in front of him.
"Hello, I'm Sheffield."
The moment they saw themselves, the other person's pupils dilated slightly, and their eyes filled with joy.
At this moment, Doya also recognized Xie Fei, and she hurriedly bowed to Xie Fei.
“Attorney Sheffield, this is Doya. Mr. Parker asked me to pick you up at the airport.”
"Doya, it's a pleasure to meet you."
Qin Suisui pulled her suitcase and walked up to her, her smile tinged with weariness.
"Attorney Sheffield, let me help you with your luggage!"
After speaking, Doya eagerly reached out and pulled the suitcase from Lawyer Sheffield's hand. Seeing that the other party looked slightly tired, she hesitated for a moment.
"Attorney Sheffield, would you like to rest at the hotel first, or would you like to visit the law firm?"
Parker said that Sheffield had just arrived in Huating and might need to rest for a few days. However, everything was done according to Sheffield's wishes. During the days that Sheffield rested, she would be responsible for taking care of him personally. Fortunately, Sheffield was a woman.
Otherwise, she might become reserved.
Doya glanced at lawyer Sheffield walking beside her.
From her perspective, Attorney Sheffield's face was small and delicate, with a light pink tinge on her fair cheeks. Her slightly upturned lips conveyed composure and calmness. Her figure was slender and graceful, with a slender waist that swayed naturally. Her unhurried steps gave her a languid beauty.
