The majestic Supuha Mountains are located in the northern mountainous region of the Ayyubid Empire, formerly the Latish province of the Abbasid Empire.
In the middle of the mountain range, there is a mountain peak that the locals call the Temple of the True God.
This precipitous mountain, with an altitude of over 5,000 meters, is considered by people to be the holy site closest to God because of the legends of God's miracles.
On the ridge of a high mountain, there is a hidden canyon, and on both sides of the canyon, natural caves carved out by wind can be seen everywhere.
The headquarters fortress of the Heterogeneous Elders is located in these caves.
Amidst the swirling sandstorm, a dark figure walked along a path on the mountain ridge, struggling forward against the wind and sand.
The closer you get to the canyon, the less wind and sand there is, and you can gradually smell a trace of moisture in the air.
After walking a while longer, the dark figure entered the canyon, pushed aside the bushes and trees along the way, and easily arrived at an oasis in the canyon.
Walking to a green oasis lake reflecting the azure sky, the figure in black slowly untied the cloth wrapped around her head, revealing a woman's charming and delicate face.
The woman walked to the water's edge, first looking at the surrounding scenery, then scooping up a handful of clear water to wet her dry lips and soothe her parched throat, before finally sitting by the lake quietly waiting for someone to arrive.
The shadows of the trees moved slowly with the rising sun, and a sudden voice finally rang in the woman's ears: "Ratchet, I really don't understand why you wrote a letter to lure me here? If I were you, I would never want to come back here."
A barely perceptible smile appeared on her previously calm face. Rachel slowly turned around, looking at the ordinary-looking stranger in front of her who was tossing a dagger around, and said casually, "Sabrina, without Elder Clarence's protection, isn't my invitation your last hope?"
Sabrina glared at Rachel: "Your royal lover, finding you old and unattractive and unable to have children, has taken a new lover?"
Rachel covered her mouth with her hand, chuckling as she said in a teasing tone, "I can hear a hint of bitterness, a hint of jealousy, and a little bit of envy in your voice?"
Sabrina gripped the dagger and glared at Rachel, saying menacingly, "You sharp-tongued brat! Do you believe I can make sure you never have to speak again?!"
Rachel, unconcerned, began to comb her long hair: "You wouldn't do that."
"Want to take a gamble?"
"The enemy of my enemy is my ally. You don't seem like an impulsive idiot; you can't possibly be unaware of this basic truth."
Upon hearing Rachel's words, Sabrina stopped what she was doing, her eyes darting around.
After a long while, she slowly put down the dagger in her hand, tilted her head back, and asked suspiciously, "What do you want to do?"
"Among the elders, only one person remains who can now rival Elder Eleanor."
Sabrina seemed to understand: "I see, you're talking about Elder Iliad."
In the main hall of the Temple of the True God, the headquarters of the Presbyterian Church, ancient murals dating back thousands of years stand in stark contrast to a group of worshippers kneeling and worshipping a statue of a goddess.
A pilgrim dressed as a hunter ran into the main hall, approached the front of the worshippers, and whispered to the leader, "Lord Vernon, two people have come down from the mountain, one of them is..."
The leader of the cult was a Semitic man in his forties. Hearing two harsh names from his subordinates, he stood up angrily and shouted, "How dare they come back?!"
Seeing his subordinates' subservient manner, Vernon asked angrily, "Why didn't you capture those two?!"
The sentry's face showed fear: "One of those two is the third-ranked member of the Conflict Legion. Even if my brothers and I go together, we have absolutely no chance of winning."
Vernon gritted his teeth in hatred: "The vice-commander took most of the men to the Empire, while Mother Goddess went to Holy Oracle Peak! Those two bastards really know how to pick their timing!"
Just as the Mother Goddess followers were in a state of chaos, two women walking side by side into the main hall attracted everyone's attention.
Sabrina's small body sent a strong, stunned warrior flying to the ground, drawing screams from the crowd.
Rachel looked at the cultists before her, bowed, and then laughed, "So many years have passed, and you haven't even changed the location or password of the mechanisms and secret doors here. I really don't know whether to call you lazy or stupid?"
Vernon stared at Rachel and said coldly, "What are you doing here?"
Rachel ran her fingers through her hair and said nonchalantly, "I have something I'd like to see Elder Iliad about."
Enraged by Rachel's arrogant attitude, Vernon pointed at the two men and shouted, "One is a stray dog, the other a heretic! How dare you set foot here? Today! Your days are numbered!"
Rachel feigned fear and hid behind Sabrina. She whispered in Sabrina's ear, "He called you a stray dog."
Despite knowing that this woman was instigating her, Sabrina was still enraged beyond control by Vernon's insults.
The blood in her body was like boiling asphalt, steaming and bubbling, gushing out of Sabrina's mouth and nose, spreading throughout her entire body in seconds.
All the cultists who had witnessed Sabrina's powers retreated in fear. They were not afraid of death; what truly terrified them was the thought of their bodies and souls becoming playthings for others.
