Staring at the skeleton hidden beneath the black robe, Todd shouted, "Who are you?!"
The skeleton reached out and touched its face, feigning surprise, and said, "I forgot, without that outer skin, living beings wouldn't recognize each other."
Todd stared at the skeleton as he walked over to the unconscious Rachel, and after confirming that she was alright, he went to Evie's side.
Compared to Rachel, Evie, who was barely breathing, was much more seriously injured.
A sharp, white bone spear pierced Ivy's right chest, filling her punctured lung with a large amount of blood. Although her regenerative abilities were constantly repairing her body, the blood foam spilling from the corner of her mouth indicated that Ivy's injury was not optimistic.
Todd cradled Evie in his dragon claws, used his powers to pull out the bone spur, drained the blood from her chest cavity, and mended the wound.
Watching everything Todd did, White Bone stroked his chin and said softly, "Todd, you haven't changed at all."
After tending to Ivy's wounds, Todd gently placed her on the ground. He spread his dragon wings and looked at the undead in the sky, his golden dragon eyes flashing with crimson light: "I recognize your soul, throat bone... Don't you feel pathetic to have become like this?"
The man with the throat bone shook his head and said, "Todd, look at yourself. I don't think it's your place to use the word 'pathetic'."
Todd looked at the throat bone and suddenly asked, "Where is Master Myris?"
The throat bone was silent for a moment, then said, "Dead... wait, I'm not quite sure. If a necromancer is terminated, is he considered dead, or is he added to the dead?"
Todd gripped the dragon claw tightly, his voice filled with boundless rage: "Did you kill him?"
Throat Bone: "I was the one who gave him his freedom... The path Myris pursued went against the way of the necromancy, and he was destined to be eliminated."
Todd raised his voice: "Master Myris once helped you! He even gave up his original faith!"
Adam's apple tilted its head to look at Todd, and after a long while, it slowly said, "Todd, for a long time, I've always felt that there's something wrong with you. At that time, I didn't understand it, but later I gradually realized what went wrong."
"You always place too much importance on other people's feelings and neglect your own interests."
"Your behavior is selfless to put it nicely, but to put it bluntly, it's stupid."
"Your feigned arrogance and lack of strategy make me want to vomit."
"Don't you think that if everyone just minds their own business, the world can still become a wonderful place?"
Todd said angrily, "If everyone were like you, what would be left of this world besides ruins?"
The man with the throat bone laughed: "If everyone were like me, then the law of the jungle and survival of the fittest would be the only rule, and those who survive to the end would become the last hope of this world."
"The weak only need to provide flesh and blood as nourishment for the world, and their souls will become the source of the strength of the strong."
"This is natural selection, and it is also the meaning of evolution."
"This is also the path of the undead."
Unable to bear it any longer, Todd opened his dragon mouth, and a fireball flew straight toward his throat.
Throat Bone beckoned, and a bone spike undead leaped from the rock wall, blocking its path, only to be blasted to pieces by the fireball.
Throat Bone: "I was hoping to catch up a bit more, but it seems you can't wait... Alright, let's get down to business."
The throat bone slowly descended onto the head of the Necromancer Mother, and countless Necromancer parasites bound his body.
The top of the Necromancer's head slowly sank, forming a cavity that sucked the body of the throat bone into it.
A moment later, the eyes of the Necromancer Mother opened again, and the sound of her throat bones came from there.
"Sutherland feared the undead, yet he also wanted to use them. Therefore, he was so timid that he didn't even unleash one-tenth of the true power of this body."
"Todd, look closely and see what a true god looks like!"
The entire body of the Necromancer Mother was instantly enveloped by countless Necromancer parasites. After hardening and solidifying, the entire Mother looked like an enormous black pupa.
Pale blue particles converged into the pupa from all directions. This enormous creature, situated in the magma, grew larger and larger, eventually even breaking through many of the nearby rock walls.
Todd relentlessly attacked the pupa with fireballs and claws, but he couldn't inflict any real damage on it.
Minutes later, cracks began to appear on the pupa's skin.
Large amounts of black liquid gushed out from inside the pupa, falling onto the lava with a hissing sound.
A thick, black parasitic tentacle, resembling a tree trunk, emerged from the pupa.
The tentacles have countless barbs and small mouths at the front, with sharp teeth filling the mouths, making them look like lampreys that have been mutated by radiation.
Immediately afterwards, the second and third tentacles emerged from the pupa.
As more and more tentacles extend, the entire pupa gradually breaks apart, like an eggshell.
Finally, a monster that only existed in nightmares has now appeared alive in the volcano.
Its head is made up of thousands of thick parasites, making it look like a hollowed-out insect nest.
Its body was covered by a thick carapace, and was entirely black. Six pairs of huge limbs, each nearly a hundred meters long, were arranged asymmetrically, and countless faces of the dead were spread all over its body like pores.
Its tail is covered with countless dark red eyeballs, each dripping black liquid.
