Chapter 762 Beyond Reality (Part 2)

Looking at the countless spheres and tentacles beneath his feet, Todd asked in astonishment, "Are these all universes?"

Jing Su corrected him: "Multidimensional universe and virtual channel."

"The arrangement of the universe is not three-dimensional, but rather a more complex string-like connection."

"The ethereal flow containing a soul travels rapidly through the universe, continuing to move forward."

Todd asked, "Is this how the souls of the reborn travel from one universe to another in a different dimension?"

Jing Su: "Yes, but the souls of different reborn individuals will exhibit different differences when traversing dimensions, but this is not important here."

Todd repeatedly examined the multidimensional universe map beneath his feet, carefully observing the trajectory of the pale blue soul, and asked, "I see these ethereal entities. They are not staying in the universe; they seem to be still moving forward?"

Jing Su: "Yes, the end point for the ethereal body is not here."

After saying this, Jing Su emitted a red light and shrank the star map beneath his feet once more.

The multidimensional universe, which was originally displayed at its maximum size, was instantly shrunk to the size of a red blush, and this red blush appeared as densely packed as stars in the scene below.

These clusters, composed of multidimensional universes, range in size from about the size of a silver coin to less than half the size of a soybean.

The pale blue ethereal flow acted like a bridge, linking these clusters of multidimensional universes together to form a vast whole.

In the very center of these multidimensional cosmic clusters, there is a bright red area.

The ethereal flow originated from the multidimensional universe cluster, entered the central red area, paused briefly, and then flowed out again, returning to the multidimensional universe cluster.

Todd pointed to the bright red area in the middle and asked Crystal, "What's that place?"

Jingsu: "That place is called the Central Hub."

Todd: "Central hub?"

Crystal: "The flow of ethereal entities that converges from every universe ultimately flows to the central hub."

Todd: "What exactly is in the central command?"

Jing Su: "I don't know."

Todd was somewhat surprised: "You didn't know?"

Jing Su: "I am not omniscient. I am just a manager, and there are many things I cannot answer."

Todd stared at Crystal and asked, "You say you're a manager, so how exactly were you created? And what exactly is your mission?"

Jing Su: "Actually, you already knew the answer."

Todd frowned. "I know the answer? What are you talking about?"

Jing Su: "If you forget, you'll remember sooner or later, but not now."

Todd stared at Crystal and noticed that she had fallen silent, seemingly no longer willing to answer any questions.

Helpless, Todd could only focus his attention on the scene at his feet.

Multidimensional cosmic clusters, virtual flow, central hub...

Some images and sounds flashed through Todd's mind. He squatted down, held his head in his hands, and began to try his best to recall his past memories.

Suddenly, he stood up and said to Jing Su, "Could you replay those previous videos?"

Jing Su: "Of course."

On the alien planet, the ethereal stream containing the souls of living beings first gathered at the base of the beacon tower, and then was launched into the sky above the planet through the tower.

These ethereal streams rapidly converged between planets, eventually transforming into a massive ethereal stream that passed through the cosmic core, dark matter, and dimensional walls, ultimately reaching another dimensional universe.

Countless dimensional universes form one dimensional cluster after another.

The ethereal flow originates from the cluster itself and eventually enters a place called the Central Hub.

After a brief stay, the ethereal flow left the central hub and returned to each dimensional cluster.

Todd watched the whole process, freezing the image on the final central point.

He asked Crystal, "Is it possible to adjust the image containing multidimensional cosmic clusters and centers from a two-dimensional plane to a three-dimensional one?"

Jing Su: "Okay."

The original two-dimensional diagram eventually transformed into a three-dimensional projection, which slowly appeared before Todd's eyes.

Looking at the projected image, Todd finally realized where that familiar feeling came from.

This three-dimensional projection, composed of multidimensional cosmic clusters and a central nervous system, is remarkably similar to the structure of a biological brain.

The multidimensional universe clusters are like the cerebral cortex, and the central nervous system is like the brainstem and limbic brain.

This derivation follows.

The cosmic core formed by nebulae is the cell nucleus.

The dark matter that makes up dark matter is cytoplasm.

The barrier boundary formed by the dimensional walls is the sheath colloid.

Virtual channels are like axons in brain cells.

Everything in a complete universe, when put together, forms a complete neuron.

Countless dimensional universes are constructed together, much like countless neurons linked together, forming a dendritic cluster in the cerebral cortex.

Those ethereal flows containing the human soul are like the constantly flowing electrical signals in brain cells. They flow through every neuron, carrying the information brought by the senses and thoughts.

The brainstem and limbic system form the central nervous system, which controls all brain activity.

After figuring all this out, Todd himself felt it was all a bit unreal.

Why is the reality of the universe so similar to the brain of a living organism?

Is it a coincidence?

Or are there other reasons?
