Chapter 534 The Wise King in Heaven

Scáthach sighed: "It's not just humans who are synonymous with evil. In fact, every race has this common trait, it's just that humans are more adept at warfare."

Todd continued, “To deal with the risks of war brought about by desire and faith, I make an assumption—would things be simpler if all different races lived together in a unified country, with all actions subject to the constraints of the state?”

Leviathan questioned, "Living in a unified country? It's easy to say, but extremely difficult to do! Every race has different lifestyles and social differences. If they live together, all sorts of problems will arise."

Scáthach nodded: "Throughout the history of each era, there have indeed been some great monarchs who established vast empires and attempted to bring all races under their control. However, the reigns of these empires were all short-lived; some lasted for hundreds of years, while others did not even last ten years."

Todd pressed on, "And what caused the downfall of these empires?"

Leviathan glanced at Scáthach with his enormous eyes, then said, “When wise monarchs or leaders are alive, they can use their personal prestige and political means to control and coordinate the various forces within the country. However, when they die, whether it is the successor or the national parliament, they gradually deviate from the original intention of the country, begin to exclude and discriminate against races, and ultimately plunge the entire country into the abyss of division and war.”

Scáthach added, "History has shown that some wise monarchs, as they grow older and their circumstances change, gradually begin to doubt others and themselves, overturning their original promises and vows, and ultimately heading towards the extreme of war."

Todd nodded and said, "So, after discussing this matter to this point, one thing can be confirmed. Although there are differences between different races, as long as there is a wise and virtuous monarch or leader, then the outbreak of racial war can be avoided. Is that correct?"

Scáthach said, “That’s right, but no wise monarch can live forever, or those monarchs who pursue immortality eventually turn from reason to folly.”

Leviathan stared at Todd: "What exactly is your so-called solution to avoid a war of extinction?"

Todd composed himself: "The key to avoiding a war of extinction lies in political stability and the continuation of the nation. Regarding the latter, I have tried different paths, but none of them have been very effective. Now I am inclined to a unique path—the wise king."

"The Wise King?"

Leviathan and Scáthach exchanged a glance, both questioning and waiting for Todd's explanation.

Todd said, “I have established a kingdom in my soul space, and through this kingdom, I have completed a unified faith framework and judgment system for all races and individuals. Now, I hope to use your power to perfect this kingdom and make it a tangible reality.”

Scáthach asked Todd, "What is the connection between this heavenly kingdom you speak of and the wise king you just mentioned?"

"This heavenly kingdom is the one I see as the immortal, wise, loving, fair, and just sage king!"
