Chapter 262 Dark Circles

As the cool fingertips touched him, Lan Yin closed his eyes and felt a cool water flow into his heart, instantly calming his restless emotions.

"Lanyin, have you been unhappy lately?" Yu Wanwan asked him softly.

Lan Yin hummed in agreement and said, "Something bad has happened."

Yu Wanwan nodded, thought for a moment, and started doing eye exercises for him: "Your dark circles are showing. I don't know if this will help, but I'll give it a try."

Lan Yin, as always, was eager to learn: "What are dark circles under the eyes?"

Yu Wanwan gently stroked the area below his eyelid and chuckled, "It's this spot that's gotten so dark, like a panda."

"And what is a giant panda?"

"Giant pandas are..."

The two chatted softly, and Lan Yin felt as if she were enveloped by flowing water, feeling completely at ease, and her body relaxed completely.

He couldn't help but yawn, and Yu Wanwan tilted her head: "Lanyin, do you want to rest for a while?"

Lan Yin wiped her moist eyes and gently shook her head: "I'm fine."

After saying that, he yawned again, his eyes brimming with tears, looking just like an innocent and bewildered child.

She smiled slightly and pressed him down to sit on the bed: "You rest here, I'll wake you up in a little while, okay?"

The little female was very weak and spoke softly, but Lan Yin was unable to resist her strength and obediently lay down.

A familiar scent filled his nostrils, and he felt as if he were enveloped in something soft, floating around, unable to touch the ground with his hands and feet.

While pulling the blanket over him, Yu Wanwan took the fishbone out from under the blanket and hid it behind her back.

Lan Yin looked at her, who seemed to want to sleep but didn't dare to.

"Wanwan, you must remember to call me."

"good."

Relieved to receive a response, Lan Yin slowly closed her eyes.

Yu Wanwan sat to one side, quietly watching him.

He sleeps in a very docile position, lying flat on his back with his hands on his stomach, neither turning over nor snoring, without making a sound.

Lan Yin was always gentle and polite, with a smile on his face at all times. He was also considerate and kind. Yu Wanwan could never bring herself to associate him with the words "cold-blooded and cruel".

This person is nothing like the mermaid king she imagined.

What should she do? Should she really take action?

Yu Wanwan pursed her lips, gripping the fishbone tightly in her hand.

The beast gods, watching the fish through the mirror-like lake, stared intently, their hands clenched into fists.

"Why isn't this little female getting up? The target is right in front of her, and she's asleep!"

She's not even seizing such a good opportunity; does she even want to go back?

"Hurry up! Hurry up!"

The beast gods looked at her, wishing they could rush up to her themselves.

If they could still get in touch with her, they would have already urged her to hurry up!

"Wanwan! Kill him right now!"

Whether she heard their words or not, the little female actually stood up, holding a fishbone in her hand, and approached Lan Yin, who was still asleep, step by step.
