Chapter 284 First Entry

Fang Zong shook his head.

Zhou Xiaoning looked around and asked, "Where's that little yellow cat?"

"He was bored, so he went out to find a mother cat."

Actually, he was going out to spend money, but Fang Zong had been thinking recently about whether to bring back his bank card and buy some of the books in the collection.

He loved the books here so much, but he also felt a little ashamed to take back the money he had given away.

Zhou Xiaoning said "Oh" and looked at Fang Zong.

Strangely, Fang Zong's face, hands, and wrists were all clean, only her clothes were dirty. She turned and left, and soon returned with a wooden basin and a washboard, the kind that's very old-fashioned. In modern times, its only use would be for making her husband kneel on it, and she also had a feeling that she was beginning to be completely replaced by the keyboard.

She took Fang Zong's coat and washed it right there for him.

Feeling bored, they started talking about the history of the library.

Fang Zong listened quietly, a half-smile playing on his lips.

"Heh, why am I telling you all this? You're a monster, you wouldn't understand at all."

"What if I bought all the books in the collection?"

“You’re a monster, what legitimate money could you possibly have? It’s filthy. If my great-grandfather jumped out, could you hold down his coffin lid?”

My money? Dirty?

Fang Zong was speechless. Did you really think I was a monster? After Zhou Xiaoning finished washing, she took the clothes and used the Dragon Yang Fire to dry them.

A cloud of white mist rose up, and the clothes were on her body. Zhou Xiaoning giggled, "Look! You're a monster!"

Fang Zong: "..."

Looking at the bookshelves filled with books, Fang Zong couldn't resist and moved over there again.

Zhou Xiaoning asked, "Do you still want to know the exact locations of the Ten Great Yin Sites?"

Fang Zong stopped and turned around: "You know?"

"I've been here for ten years, and I've seen it all!" Zhou Xiaoning spread her arms and twirled around, as playful as a blue butterfly in a flowerbed. "I know everything about the Ten Great Yin Lands. If you want to know, beg me!"

Fang Zong laughed: "How do you ask?"

"I'm going to a bar. I've never been to a bar in my life. I'm going to write a really, really dark novel. You'll be my protector!"

Fang Zong nodded.

In the bustling city, the night, which should be quiet, is filled with more neon lights than stars in the sky.

Various kinds, vying for attention.

Fang Zong led Zhou Xiaoning, and by the time Zhou Xiaoning realized what was happening, she was already standing in a bar she had never stepped into before.

The bar felt similar to what Zhou Xiaoning had seen in movies and TV shows, except that there were too many smokers and the smoky atmosphere made her cough. She pretended to look for the bar to order a drink, but found that Fang Zong was taking the drink directly from the waitress's tray. A thick wad of cash made the waitress beam with joy, as if she wanted to stick to Fang Zong.

Fang Zong laughed and said, "I've never been to a 'Naoba' in China either, but it's roughly the same."

Zhou Xiaoning's eyes blinked: "What do you mean, 'almost'?"

"Money talks."

Fang Zong looked around.

He has a keen eye for observation; he can analyze what a person is doing, their purpose, and so on just by looking at them. His extensive knowledge allows him to understand other people's psychology very well.

Without even finding a place to sit down and take a sip of wine, he went straight to a cramped corner.

A man wearing a baseball cap was sitting in a booth. Fang Zong kicked him, breaking at least a dozen of his sternums. The man fell to the ground and couldn't get up.

"What are you selling?" Fang Zong asked, but instead reached out and saw that the man's clothes were torn and many colorful little pills had fallen out.

Before Zhou Xiaoning could react, the matter was already settled.

Fang Zong laughed, "It's just some pills, but it's pretty ruthless for a good little darling like you... Hey, stop playing dead, who's your boss? Tell me!"

"It's me!" A sinister voice came from behind.

The surrounding crowd dispersed, revealing a dozen or so burly men with tattoos, exuding a powerful aura; they were all trained martial artists.

Before these people could say a single polite word, Fang Zong turned around and used his knee to strike the 'boss' in the groin, then delivered a punch to his face, knocking him to the ground.

With another stomp, the ground collapsed with a loud bang.

"A military general?" The leader coughed up blood, his face turning deathly pale with fright.

"No, it's a monster," Zhou Xiaoning thought to herself, already completely bewildered.

Are all monsters this decisive in their actions? No, are they all as arrogant as Fang Zong?

“If you were selling something even more toxic, I would have already killed you.” Fang Zong grabbed the burly gang leader, flicked his finger, and a jet-black card flashed in front of the gang leader’s eyes.

While the boss was nearly scared to death, Fang Zong laughed: "Now you know, even if you climb the social ladder for ten lifetimes, you still can't mess with me, so shut up and remember her!"

He slammed the gang leader to Zhou Xiaoning's feet and said directly, "She wants to write a novel. She'll answer whatever she asks. If nothing happens to her, that's fine. But if anything does happen, I don't care if it's an accident or not, I'll make sure you're dead!"

(⊙o⊙)…Truth!

The leader and a dozen or so burly men nodded frantically.

Fang Zong turned to look at Zhou Xiaoning, smiling kindly: "Can you give me the specific addresses of the Ten Great Yin Sites now?"

Zhou Xiaoning was still a little dazed.

Less than 20 seconds after entering the bar, her first visit... was over?

So fast?!
