Chapter Twenty-One: Blackwater Lake



Fang Zong listened for a moment, then suddenly laughed, reached out and opened the car door, heading straight into the woods.

If it were a real military blockade, with a cordon set up and a platoon of veterans, Fang Zong would turn around and leave. But seeing this scene now, Fang Zong couldn't help but smile.

Strange thing? How strange? So what if it's a powerful ghost? As long as it's not alive, messing with me is the same as helping me!

Now, when Fang Zong sees strange places, he feels like he's strolling through his own backyard.

Fang Zong followed the path and soon saw a house in the woods.

It stands there all alone!

Suddenly, a bright white light shot out, and only then did Fang Zong see that there were dozens of dark figures moving in front of him. The dark figures showed a closing force, surrounding the white light, which was the house, in the middle.

"Wow, dozens of henchmen, this ghost is pretty powerful!" Fang Zong chuckled.

Ninth Sister scoffed, "Dozens of them surrounding one, do you think it's really its underling? Are you insulting my intelligence?"

Fang Zong smiled but didn't say anything.

Even if he wasn't someone's underling, dozens of them surrounding him would be enough. The ghost in the middle was quite powerful; even if he wasn't one of the four great ghosts, they wouldn't let him go back empty-handed.

Fang Zong continued walking forward when suddenly, "snap," a dry tree branch snapped crisply at his feet.

"They're here!" Fang Zong licked his lips.

When a ghost encounters a person, it can't be the ghost that runs away; judging from the number of people, it should run away on its own.

But……

The dark shadow vanished instantly, and a beam of white light rushed into the house.

Fang Zong: ...The seduction plan failed.
