Arrogant

The bell for the morning reading class rang, and Xiao Rongchen returned to the classroom from the corridor.

"Rongchen, you are so awesome," a male classmate said while giving a thumbs up as he walked past Xiao Rongchen's desk.

He said that he really admired him.

What the boy was talking about was, of course, the fact that he fell asleep during the morning reading class.

Xiao Rongchen rolled his eyes at him and said unhappily, "Go on!"

Xu Cheng, who had been sitting behind him, sorted out the books on the table before patting Xiao Rongchen on the shoulder and asking, "Are you okay?"

Then he looked at the Chinese textbook on his desk and picked it up. "Have you memorized the text? I guess I'll ask you to get up and recite the text later."

Xiao Rongchen leaned his elbows on the desk and looked at Xu Cheng lazily and said, "You guessed it right."

"Ah? No way, she's really going to ask you to get up and recite the book later? Have you finished reciting the book yet?"

Xu Cheng said with some concern.

After all, Xiao Rongchen only spent about 15 minutes out to memorize the text.

No matter how good his memory is, it is impossible for him to memorize the entire text in such a short time. What's more, he has not learned that text before, so it must be difficult for him to understand it. It must also be difficult to memorize the book, and the key is that it is long.

Xiao Rongchen smacked his lips.

Like a sigh.

"You didn't really not memorize it, right? What are you going to do later?"

Just when Xu Cheng was helping Xiao Rongchen find a solution and was punished by the teacher, Xiao Rongchen suddenly laughed.

"What's wrong? It's already late, and you're still in the mood to laugh. You know, that text is so long, I copied it 15 times, and some of it was copied."

Xu Cheng said somewhat convinced.

Xiao Rongchen then put down his arm that was leaning on the table, patted Xu Cheng's shoulder and said, "Don't worry! I have almost memorized it. Well, I will take a look at it later and it should be almost done."

At least I can handle it. I'll check it later.

“…That’ll do.”

I have to say that he still admires Xiao Rongchen's super memory.

Anyway, it is definitely impossible for him to memorize the text given such a short time.

"But seriously, what were you doing last night? Why are you so sleepy this morning?"

Xu Cheng looked at Xiao Rongchen and said slowly.

"Well, let's talk about this later," Xiao Rongchen said after a few dry laughs.

He couldn't tell Xu Cheng that he hadn't slept much in the past few days because he had suddenly returned home and wasn't used to it, so he fell asleep in class today.

Of course, trying to muddle through is not going to work.

Xu Cheng just kept looking at Xiao Rongchen.

Xiao Rongchen couldn't stand his gaze and had to compromise and said, "You know that morning reading class is a hypnotic class for me, and the sound of you reading is like chanting, isn't it normal for you to fall asleep?"

“…”

Xu Cheng couldn't refute what he said.

If Xiao Rongchen hadn't said that, Xu Cheng would have really forgotten that this kid usually slept in class and only took it seriously during small tests.

Originally, he had forgotten about it because he hadn't been to school for a while. Xiao Rongchen had another problem.

"Please hand in your math homework, everyone," a little boy wearing glasses walked over and said.

"Yeah, okay."

While responding, Xu Cheng took out his homework from his schoolbag and handed it to the boy.

Xu Chengcai said this after the math class representative left.

"Class 1 is sending two representatives to the Mathematical Olympiad held by the school this time. The math teacher wants you to go with him."

Xu Cheng said in a low voice.

Xiao Rongchen was a little surprised. "Really? How come I didn't know that?"

Xu Cheng couldn't help but hold his forehead.

Don’t mention it, that guy probably fell asleep and didn’t know about it.

"Hey, I'm asking you a question!"
