Something that even a super memory can't accomplish

Seeing the teacher in the corridor making some movements, as if he was about to enter the classroom, Xu Cheng immediately reached out and poked Xiao Rongchen, hurriedly waking him up.

Xiao Rongchen was sleeping very soundly. Xu Cheng poked him for a long time but saw no sign of him waking up.

In a moment of desperation, he used more strength and called out to Xiao Rongchen.

"Xiao Rongchen, Xiao Rongchen?!"

"what?!"

Xiao Rongchen was woken up by Xu Cheng and said in a bad mood.

He was not a good-tempered person, so his voice must have been a little loud. After Xiao Rongchen shouted like that, the whole classroom became quiet in an instant.

Compared to the previous reading sounds, this classroom was even more terrifyingly quiet.

It’s over, Xu Cheng thought to himself.

Even though Xiao Rongchen was still half asleep, he realized that something was wrong.

Just as I was about to turn around and ask Xu Cheng what was wrong, I heard a voice.

"Cough cough" Yang Shan coughed twice.

Xu Cheng and Xiao Rongchen turned to look at Yang Shan almost at the same time.

There is only one thought in my mind.

It's over!

“Hehehe…”

Xiao Rongchen smiled with a forced smile.

Yang Shan also squinted her eyes and smiled at him.

"Xiao Rongchen, what do you want to do?"

The implication is, are you planning a rebellion?! Openly disrupting the class.

"I, I..." Xiao Rongchen looked at Yang Shan and said slowly.

What was he going to say? Did he fall asleep, and then get woken up and get a little mad, so he raised his voice?

As he spoke, his eyes unconsciously looked at Xu Cheng.

Trying to ask him what to do.

But Xiao Rongchen himself didn’t know, so how could Xu Cheng know?

However, he tilted his head and closed his eyes. After a few seconds, he looked at Xiao Rongchen with an expression of helplessness in his eyes.

"Don't look at him," Yang Shan said as she reached out and took the textbook from Xiao Rongchen's desk and handed it to him.

"Stand at the door and recite this text before you come in!"

Yang Shan said lightly.

“…Hehehe.”

Xiao Rongchen could only smile dryly and walked out of the classroom with his books.

"Alright, everyone else, continue reading. Later in class, if I pick someone who hasn't memorized the text, then... I'll have to make them copy the text 15 times..."

As soon as these words were spoken, the classroom was immediately filled with complaints.

“…”

Yang Shan raised an eyebrow and said, "Isn't it good? It's just right for me to understand the text, memorize it, and practice my calligraphy at the same time. How great is that?"

Xiao Rongchen, who was standing at the door, heard this and thought to himself, "What's so good about it?"

Then he flipped through the textbook. In fact, he never memorized texts like this one, because no matter how much he memorized, it was not as useful as understanding. Memorizing it was just a waste of time.

Of course he was happy. He had never memorized any of the longer ancient poems in their entirety. He only remembered one or two key lines.

He only memorized the more famous and interesting verses of poetry in their entirety.

"What are you thinking about?"

Just when Xiao Rongchen was flipping through the book casually, Yang Shan came out of the classroom and looked at Xiao Rongchen and said lightly.

"I'm telling you, next class I'm going to pick you up and make you recite the text!"

Because she knew Xiao Rongchen too well, if she didn't put some pressure on him, he would definitely not recite it seriously.

Xiao Rongchen paused as he flipped through the book.

“…”

Almost half of the class has passed, and it is impossible to memorize everything even if we use the ten minutes between classes.

He couldn't help but look at Yang Shan with a hint of pleading in his eyes.

Yang Shan smiled and said, "Come on."

Xu Cheng looked out the window, and even though he couldn't hear any sound, he could roughly guess what Teacher Yang said to Xiao Rongchen.

It seems that in the next class, Xiao Rongchen will definitely be the one to endorse the text.

Really...

If he had known that guy had such a bad temper, he shouldn't have let him sleep.
