Chapter 44: Enemy Situation (Part 1)

When the zombies saw the living people, they entered the house and immediately pounced on Wei Xiyin and others.

It's incredibly fast!

The crowd retreated again and again. Qin Shan was the first to react. He raised the long tasseled spear in his hand and swept it across, blocking the zombies' way.

The zombies at night were very agile and quick. Qin Shan stabbed them with his spear, but they dodged it nimbly.

The way forward was blocked, and the zombie turned around, making an unknown "ho ho" sound from its mouth, and rushed straight towards Qin Shan.

The bonfire suddenly went out at this moment, and the house and outside fell into darkness, and another burst of terrified screams rang out outside.

Wei Xiyin couldn't help but curse in her heart. Although she didn't see the situation outside, she already had a rough idea in her mind that some survivors must have escaped to the nearby area and attracted a large number of zombies over.

The bursts of shrill screams outside were obviously coming from a woman.

The battle in the house was still going on. The guards who stayed inside protected the brother and sister in the middle, pressing them tightly against the corner of the wall. Xie Ruian had already cleverly run over and hid in the crowd.

Soon, a second zombie crawled in through the broken window. In the darkness, Qin Shan's figure became a little blurry.

Wei Xiyin suddenly remembered that Qin Shan was not wearing any armor. It was dark and his vision was obstructed. The biting wind and snow made it impossible to open his eyes, which greatly affected his activities.

What if Qin Shan gets scratched by a zombie by accident?

Thinking of this, she couldn't help herself anymore, so she held the snow in her hand tightly and gradually moved to the edge of the crowd.

The broken window looked like a giant beast that could swallow everything, with its bloody mouth wide open. The night was as black as ink, and zombies crawled out from time to time.

There was no room for maneuver in the small room, and the guards did not dare to rush forward for fear of accidentally hurting their own people.

Several zombies surrounded Qin Shan, and he waved his long tasseled spear as fast as an afterimage, preventing the zombies from getting close to him.

One of the monsters approached the corner during the fight, and was instantly attracted by the huge fragrance behind it. It turned around and rushed towards the crowd here.

It's so fast!

Wei Xiyin felt the sound of wind in her ears and immediately reached out to stop the crowd from retreating. They were pressed against the wall and had nowhere to retreat.

She raised her sword and rushed forward, joining the battle with her guards.

The monster in front of them was completely different from the one in the daytime. Its enormous strength caused the guards to retreat again and again, and their knuckles were numb from the shock.

The guards had no choice but to arrange their long tasseled spears in a row to form a barrier to prevent the zombies from breaking through the defense line and entering the rear.

Wei Xiyin listened carefully to the changes in the zombies' positions. The falling snow was extremely sharp and could cut iron silently. In this cramped and narrow space, it exerted great power.

She thrust her sword, and the tip of the sword instantly pierced into the monster's chest. However, out of consideration for the people around her, she didn't dare to thrust too far, and inevitably the sword went off target.

Fortunately, several guards quickly found the rhythm and cooperated with each other in the dark. Their long tasseled spears formed a square formation, which gradually tightened and trapped the zombies inside.

The monsters became extremely powerful at night, and the four guards needed great strength to maintain their formation.

Wei Xiyin discovered the situation in time. She raised her sword and stabbed it straight into the zombie's head, and the zombie fell to the ground with a bang.

Before everyone could breathe a sigh of relief, more and more zombies appeared in the house, and the "battlefield" became more and more chaotic.

This is not a solution at all. The room is too small and there are too many people, so I can't use my skills at all.

Wei Xiyin immediately gave the order, shouting, "Everyone rush out!"

After saying that, she pulled Wei Lang over and rushed out of the house first.
