Inside the gate, a chicken was found guarding it.
It stared warily at Zhang Hao and his group, making clucking noises as if it didn't welcome them.
This chicken is very large, standing a full two meters tall.
It has a red comb on its head, a thick body of orange-yellow feathers, a black metallic sheen on its tail, and a sharp, hard beak.
His eyes were lowered and he looked down.
He has a rather unruly temperament.
Fang Ping exclaimed in amazement, "Wow! What a huge rooster! And that big chicken leg... it would smell amazing if it were fried!"
However.
An embarrassing thing happened.
To everyone's surprise, the rooster looked at him with disdain and said, "Are you blind? I'm no ordinary rooster, I'm a black-tailed junglefowl! Do you know what a junglefowl is? You probably don't."
"That's the wild ancestor of all domestic chickens, a rare breed protected by the state. If you dare to eat my chicken leg, I'll put you in jail in no time."
"Tsk tsk! Look at you all, all dressed up like respectable people, who would have thought you're actually a bunch of illiterate people and mentally challenged?"
