Blood continuously flowed from his mouth, nose, and even ears, forming horrifying streaks on his face. His eyes began to blur, his consciousness gradually becoming hazy, and he struggled in endless pain. Those around him, watching his tragic state, were filled with fear and despair, as if they could see themselves being struck. A deep sense of helplessness permeated everyone's heart.
The balls of light emitted by the butterfly were like magic balls from the abyss, carrying endless terror and destructive power.
As the ball of light shot out, the space around it seemed to distort. Faint black lines spread through the air, as if the void had been torn apart. Wherever the ball of light passed, the air emitted a sharp whistling sound, like a scream of fear. The sound was so sharp and piercing that it pierced the eardrums and made people's heads dizzy.
Once the ball of light collided with an object, it instantly unleashed an unimaginably powerful impact. This force was like the collapse of a massive mountain, or the sudden onslaught of a raging tsunami, possessing the power to destroy everything. Any object it touched was shattered in the blink of an eye, reduced to dust and dissipated into the air.
Furthermore, the energy contained within the orb was extremely corrosive, rapidly decaying and decaying anything it touched. Even solid metal, struck by the orb, would corrode at a visible rate, emitting thick, acrid smoke and dissolving into a shattered state in a matter of moments. This corrosive power was like a demonic curse; once afflicted, it was difficult to escape.
Even more terrifying, the power of the light ball was contagious. Once struck in one area, the terrifying energy would rapidly spread outward, enveloping every area in its path. It felt like the end of the world, terrifying and filling one's heart with despair. The power of the butterfly light ball was truly a nightmare, filling people with a deep fear and dread.
Just as everyone was in deep pain and the entire space was shrouded in fear and despair, suddenly, a wonderful fragrance drifted over.
The fragrance seemed to come from another world, carrying an indescribable freshness and sweetness. At first, it lingered faintly in the air, but soon became distinctly audible. The aroma seemed to possess a magical power, seeping into everyone's nostrils and gradually relaxing their faces, which had been twisted with pain.
It was a scent that seemed to heal all wounds, like the softest spring breeze, gently caressing the soul. It carried a faint floral aroma, mingled with a certain warmth, making one feel as if they were in a dreamlike sea of flowers, surrounded by a riot of colour, gently swaying in the breeze, exuding an intoxicating fragrance.
The moment everyone smelled the fragrance, their physical pain seemed to instantly ease. Their previously tense nerves gradually relaxed, and the despair in their eyes gave way to a hint of wonder. They greedily breathed in the aroma, as if wanting to hold onto this wonderful feeling forever. The fragrance permeated the air, like a soft, gossamer veil, enveloping everyone, allowing them to momentarily forget the terror and pain around them, immersing themselves in this incomparably comfortable atmosphere.
In that comforting aroma, everyone gradually freed themselves from their pain. Their consciousness began to slowly become clearer, and their bodies stopped trembling.
When they fully recovered, everyone's face showed a look of confusion and astonishment. They looked around and found that the surrounding scene had become very unfamiliar. The original environment full of danger and fear disappeared, replaced by a dreamlike scene.
Before them lay a dazzling sea of flowers, each clashing with its own splendor. The blossoms swayed gently in the breeze, emitting a captivating fragrance. Amidst the blossoms flowed a gurgling stream, its water crystal clear, its ripples shimmering. The sky, a sapphire-blue, was dotted with pristine, cotton-white clouds.
Everyone looked at each other in disbelief. They began to realize that they had fallen into an illusion. Recalling everything they had just experienced, the pain and fear seemed still vivid, but now it seemed like a distant nightmare.
They tried to touch the objects around them, but found that nothing seemed real. The flowers seemed to have no substance, and felt ethereal to the touch. The stream seemed to be just a projection of light and shadow, without any real texture.
Some pinched themselves hard, feeling the pain, only to become more certain that none of this was real. They began to wonder how to escape this illusion, their hearts filled with anxiety and unease. Within this seemingly beautiful illusion, they felt an unprecedented sense of confusion and helplessness, unsure how to face this sudden change.
It turns out that the butterfly's ability is so strange and terrifying. It can release an invisible force that makes everyone fall into a deep sleep without knowing it.
When everyone realized this, endless fear surged in their hearts. The butterfly hung quietly in the air, its wings fluttering slightly, like a demon controlling life and death. The aura it exuded carried an irresistible magic, slowly corroding people's consciousness.
People began to feel their eyelids growing heavier and their heads becoming groggy. Despite trying their best to stay awake, the overwhelming urge to sleep washed over them like a tide, making it impossible to resist. One after another, they slowly closed their eyes, their bodies gradually slumped, and they fell into a deep sleep.
