Chapter 724: Troublesome Maneuvering 5

When the sanctuary appeared before their eyes, the massive sphere, surrounded by spheres of varying sizes, captivated everyone. From afar, across a desolate landscape, they beheld this mysterious and magnificent sight. The enormous sphere shone like a brilliant pearl, emitting a soft yet resolute glow. Its surface seemed composed of a unique metallic material, reflecting the surrounding light, giving it a cold yet technological feel. Everyone paused, their mouths agape, their eyes filled with disbelief. They stared, transfixed, as if captivated by an invisible force. The smaller spheres surrounding the giant sphere each possessed a unique shape and color. Some were pale blue, radiating a tranquil aura; others were silver-gray, gleaming with a cold light. Their staggered arrangement resembled satellites orbiting a primary star, or guardsmen protecting a precious treasure. As they drew closer, the details of the sanctuary became clearer. The spheres' surfaces were etched with intricate, delicate patterns and patterns, like some kind of high-tech symbology or code. At the huge entrance, a wide door slowly opened, revealing a warm and bright light, giving people an inexplicable sense of security and anticipation. "This is simply a miracle!" Someone couldn't help but exclaim in surprise, their voice filled with shock and surprise. Others echoed the same sentiment, their uneasiness replaced by intense curiosity and excitement. The children jumped up and down excitedly, while the adults whispered and talked among themselves, imagining what the scene would be like inside. Xiao Yi looked at the shelter in front of him, a strong sense of hope welling up in his heart. He knew that perhaps a new life would begin from this moment.

Xiao Yi and the others patiently cooperated with the staff's inspection, registering each item one by one. Xiao Yi took the lead, methodically removing various supplies from his backpack and gently placing them on the inspection table. His eyes were focused and sincere, as he carefully explained the items' types and uses to the staff as he unpacked them. The others followed suit, their movements orderly and without a trace of panic. A young woman carefully opened her suitcase and unpacked the neatly arranged cans of food, gently explaining their expiration dates and flavors to the staff. An elderly man slowly pulled some precious medicines from a cloth bag, meticulously memorizing the efficacy and indications of each medicine to ensure the staff's accurate record. The children also stood obediently by, clutching their small backpacks tightly, waiting for their turn. As the staff inspected them, they answered the questions earnestly in their childish voices. Everyone's face was filled with understanding and respect, and no one complained about the tedious inspection process. Xiao Yi occasionally turned back to offer everyone an encouraging look, easing the already tense atmosphere. As each item was taken out, the staff carefully inspected, questioned, and recorded it. Xiao Yi and the others patiently answered their questions, ensuring the accuracy of the information. Throughout the entire process, despite the long queue, everyone remained quiet and orderly. The only sounds were the gentle rustling of supplies and the scraping of pens across paper as the staff recorded.

"Don't be nervous, everyone. As long as we follow the rules, we will definitely get in smoothly." Xiao Yi comforted his somewhat uneasy companions. Xiao Yi's voice was calm and gentle, and it was particularly clear in this slightly tense atmosphere. He stood to one side of the team, his eyes firmly fixed on each of his uneasy companions. He walked over to a woman who was clutching the corner of her clothes tightly and trembling slightly. He patted her shoulder gently and said, "Don't worry, this is just a necessary procedure. Think about the new life we are about to usher in. This little wait is nothing." The woman raised her head and looked at Xiao Yi's encouraging eyes, and her nervous expression eased a little. Then, Xiao Yi walked over to a middle-aged man with a frown on his face, rubbing his hands constantly, "Brother, relax. We have gone through so many difficulties along the way and we will definitely pass this level." The middle-aged man took a deep breath, nodded, and his tense body gradually relaxed. Xiao Yi continued to weave through the crowd, his voice retaining its reassuring power. "Don't be afraid, children! We'll soon be in the shelter, and it'll be safe there." The children, who had previously timidly hidden behind their parents, gradually began to show courage. His words were like a warm spring breeze, dispelling the uneasiness and anxiety in their companions' hearts. As they listened to Xiao Yi's reassurances, they exchanged resolute glances, rekindling hope and confidence.

After passing through security, they were assigned to different areas. Xiao Yi glanced at the assignment notice in his hand, feeling a bit uneasy. He looked up, trying to spot a familiar face in the crowd, but everyone had already begun to disperse. A young woman beside him had been assigned to the living area. Her eyes held a mixture of anticipation for the new environment, yet also a hint of worry about the unknown. She clutched the strap of her backpack tightly, and walked hesitantly towards the living area. An elderly man and his family were assigned to the agricultural area. They supported each other and discussed the potential future work and harvest on the land as they walked. Several children excitedly ran towards the education area, their laughter echoing in the empty hallway, as if they had forgotten the anxiety and exhaustion they had just experienced. Xiao Yi himself was assigned to the work area. He followed the signs, the surroundings unfamiliar yet full of novelty. The lights in the hallway were dim, and the sound of footsteps was particularly clear in the silence. Dedicated staff were waiting in each area to guide newcomers and explain the relevant rules. In the living area, neat dormitories are arranged in an orderly manner, and all daily necessities are available. With the help of the staff, the people assigned here began to tidy up their beds and arrange their own small spaces. In the agricultural area, large tracts of land are waiting to be cultivated and sown, and various agricultural tools are neatly laid out. The old man and his family listened carefully to the staff's explanation of planting knowledge and precautions. In the education area, the bright classrooms, abundant books and brand-new learning equipment made the children cheer. The teachers greeted them with a smile, ready to embark on a new journey of knowledge. When Xiao Yi walked into the work area and saw all kinds of busy figures and complex machinery and equipment, he took a deep breath and prepared to face new challenges and work.
