He tried to stop the fighting, shouting for calm. Xiao Yi's voice, hoarse and rasping, broke through the clamor of fighting, piercing with urgency and anxiety. He shouted as he struggled to push his way through the crowd. His arms flared, trying to separate the grappling men. His face flushed crimson, veins popped on his forehead, and the veins in his neck stood out. "Everyone, calm down! If this goes on, none of us will survive!" Xiao Yi's cry was almost pleading, his eyes filled with a longing for peace and reason. However, his voice was quickly drowned out by the shouting and fighting. But Xiao Yi refused to give up. He continued to shout, his voice hoarse but still firm and powerful. "We are companions. We can't kill each other like this!" He practically roared, using all his strength to awaken the people's conscience. Xiao Yi's cry seemed so small and lonely in the chaos, but he still kept trying, as if he wanted to use his voice and actions to break this terrible madness and chaos.
"Stop! We should unite, not kill each other!" Xiao Yi roared at the top of his lungs, each word saturated with anger, anxiety, and anticipation. His voice, piercing through his throat, rippled with intense emotion, resonated through the air. Yet, his voice was faint amidst the frantic crowd. A chaotic clamor surrounded him: shouts, shouts, the sounds of fighting, the clashing of objects, a surging torrent of noise that mercilessly swallowed his cries. Those caught up in the frenzied fighting seemed to have their ears covered by a thick membrane, oblivious to Xiao Yi's cries. Their eyes were fixed only on their opponents, their meager resources, and their hearts filled with selfish, greedy desires. Xiao Yi's voice was like a pebble thrown into the sea, instantly drowned by the boundless waves, leaving not a ripple. His words seemed so pale and powerless amidst the chaos, unable to penetrate hearts blinded by fear and selfish desire. Despite this, Xiao Yi still did not give up. He continued to shout loudly, his voice becoming more and more hoarse, but still with firm belief, as if he wanted to use his voice to ignite a spark of hope in this dark moment.
Despair spread, chaos escalated, and no one was able to control the situation. Fear spread rapidly through the crowd like a plague, and everyone's eyes were filled with helplessness and confusion. The space that had once held a glimmer of order had now become a complete chaos. People pushed and shoved each other, and the shouting and cursing continued without a break. Items were carelessly thrown and destroyed, and the sound of breaking things echoed in the air like a desperate lament. Those who once tried to maintain order had long been swept up in the chaos, unable to protect themselves. No one obeyed orders, no one was willing to give in. Everyone was driven by selfishness and fear, caught in a frenzied struggle. The chaotic scene was like a scene from apocalypse, with violence and conflict raging endlessly. Blood stained the ground, and the groans of the wounded sounded particularly pitiful amid the clamor, but they could not evoke any sympathy. Children cried in the corner, their innocent hearts deeply broken by this sudden terror. The elderly watched helplessly, their eyes filled with despair and sorrow. Time seemed frozen, every second filled with pain and torment. And the chaos continued to escalate, like an unstoppable vortex, relentlessly drawing everyone in, unable to extricate themselves. No one knew when this chaos would end, nor where the future would lead. Despair, like a thick haze, enveloped everyone's heart, suffocating them.
Despair spread like a plague through the hearts of the people, as if they were trapped in an endless abyss of darkness. The feeling of despair, at first a faint shadow, crept into the depths of their hearts. Like a venomous snake lurking in the grass, it slowly spitted its tongue, releasing its deadly venom. At first, a vague unease gripped everyone, then this unease gradually transformed into deep fear. As time passed, despair began to unbridledly erode everyone's heart. Once bright eyes dimmed, filled with helplessness and confusion. The smiles that once graced their faces vanished, replaced by furrowed brows and sorrowful expressions. It felt as if an invisible hand gripped everyone's heart, tightening its grip, making it impossible to breathe. Every attempt to struggle only tightened the grip of despair. Like the walking dead, everyone wandered in the darkness, unable to find a way out, unable to see a glimmer of hope. All the dreams and aspirations of the past were now shattered. The future seemed uncertain, and the beautiful memories of the past became a sharp blade that pierced the soul. The endless, dark abyss seemed to possess a powerful gravitational pull, dragging people down relentlessly. They tried to resist, to break free, but found their strength so small and insignificant. Despair robbed them of their passion for life and their hope for the future. They no longer believed in a chance of recovery, no longer believed they could escape this darkness. Their mental defenses crumbled, leaving only desolation and a dead silence.
"We're hopeless, it's all over," someone shouted desperately, their voice nearly exhausted. Then, they collapsed to the ground, giving up resistance. Their body slammed heavily onto the cold, hard ground, sending up a cloud of dust. Their eyes, vacant and lifeless, stared straight up at the sky, as if the endless expanse of space mocked them mercilessly. Their limbs stretched limply, as if all their strength had been drained from them in that instant. Their face was filled with deep despair and exhaustion, their former resolve and courage vanished without a trace. Their lips trembled slightly as they muttered, "I've tried so hard, I've struggled so long, but what's the point? In the end, I can't escape fate's cruelty." Each word seemed squeezed from the depths of their soul, tinged with endless pain and helplessness. Tears streamed down their cheeks, dripping into the dust, vanishing in an instant, like the last shred of hope within them. They no longer tried to rise, no longer harboring any thought of resistance. They simply lay there quietly, letting despair consume them. Those around them, watching him, couldn't help but feel a surge of sadness. Some people wanted to go forward and help him up, give him some encouragement and comfort, but in the end they just stood there, because their own hearts were filled with confusion and fear, and they didn't know where the future lay.
