Chapter 793 A Lightning Battle

Xiao Yi clenched his fists, his eyes burning with determination. He was determined to launch a desperate counterattack. He quickly summoned the bravest warriors in his team. Each one was strong and sturdy, their gazes resolute, and they stood before him fearlessly. Xiao Yi gazed at them, his voice resounding, "Brothers, this is a battle for our lives. We must fight to the last ounce of our strength for our homes and our loved ones!" The warriors roared in unison, their morale high. Under the cover of darkness, Xiao Yi quietly led this elite force on their way. Lightly equipped, their steps were swift and silent, like a group of ghosts moving through the darkness. Along the way, they dodged zombie patrols and carefully navigated through dangerous areas. The path was bumpy and thorny, but no one complained, no one retreated. Xiao Yi walked at the front of the team, always vigilant. He held his weapons tightly in his hands, his ears listening for even the slightest movement. Every member of the team was on edge, knowing that a single misstep would lead to a fatal fall. Finally, they managed to circle the rear of the zombie horde. The command center, where the mysterious figure stood, loomed before them. Xiao Yi gestured for everyone to halt, then carefully observed the surroundings, formulating his final attack plan. "Ready, charge!" Xiao Yi commanded, and the soldiers, like tigers emerging from the mountains, pounced on the command center. Their cries of battle resounded through the night, shattering the long-held silence.

Xiao Yi and his elite team trudged forward through the darkness, each step fraught with unpredictable danger. The muddy and slippery path beneath them threatened to trip them at the slightest mistake. Surrounding them was the eerie woods, where strange noises lingered, leaving their skin crawling. They carefully avoided corners where zombies might lurk, their heartbeats resonating clearly in the silence. Several times, the team narrowly avoided being discovered by sudden zombie patrols. Fortunately, their quick reaction allowed them to retreat into the nearby bushes, daring not to breathe until the zombies were far away before continuing on their way. Along the way, they had to contend with a host of harsh natural conditions. A raging river blocked their path, forcing the team to support each other as they waded through the icy water, their legs stinging. The steep slopes made it difficult for them to climb, requiring them to use ropes to gradually ascend. Yet, no one complained, no one gave up. Their single-minded determination was to find the mysterious controller. After an indeterminate amount of time, they crossed a misty swamp before a massive tent appeared before them. An eerie light emanated from the tent, creating an oppressive atmosphere that felt almost suffocating. Xiao Yi signaled his team to halt while he quietly approached to investigate. When he glimpsed the figure within through the cracks in the tent, he knew that, after countless hardships, they had finally found the mysterious controller. In that fierce duel, Xiao Yi and the controller stood face to face. Beneath them lay the devastated battlefield. Smoke hung like a thick curtain, filling the air, its acrid odor nearly suffocating. Ruins lay everywhere. Once towering and formidable walls were now shattered, their bricks and stones scattered across the ground, a testament to the brutality of war. Flames still burned fiercely on the broken walls, and black smoke billowed upward, obscuring the horizon. Broken weapons lay scattered across the charred earth, some warped and deformed, their former sharpness lost. Bloodstained flags fluttered feebly in the wind, as if wailing the bitter battle. Xiao Yi and the controller were in the ruins. Their figures seemed a little hazy in the smoke, but the determination and resolve in each other's eyes were clearly visible, as if the surrounding desolation and chaos could not affect the life-and-death battle they were about to embark on.

The controller stood silently, an eerie dark aura emanating from him. It seemed to possess a life of its own, like thick ink, slowly flowing and spreading, enveloping him completely. Wherever the dark aura touched, light seemed to be devoured, leaving only a chilling darkness. The very air around him seemed frozen by the aura, becoming heavy and oppressive. His eyes betrayed an endless evil, a pure, undisguised malice. Deep within them lay a bottomless abyss, filled with distortion and hideousness. Each glance was like an icy blade, ruthlessly slicing through everything around him. His coldness was evident, without a trace of pity or tenderness. It was a disregard for life, a scorn for all that was beautiful in the world. His gaze seemed to declare that everything in the world was but an ant before him, easily crushed and destroyed.

Xiao Yi stood there, his gaze as resolute as a burning torch, unwavering by the perilous situation before him. His eyes, bright and sharp, seemed to pierce the thick fog and darkness. He gripped his weapon tightly, the weapon seeming to become one with him in his powerful grip. His fingers were white with the force, yet there was no trembling, revealing his inner resolve and courage. Xiao Yi leaned forward slightly, lowering his center of gravity, assuming a posture of poised readiness. Every muscle was tense, imbued with boundless strength and explosive power, ready to strike with the swiftness of an arrow from a bow. His breathing was steady and deep, his chest rising and falling rhythmically, as if he were calibrating himself for optimal combat performance. He exuded a fearless aura, as if declaring to the enemy before him that he was ready to meet any challenge, and would never retreat, no matter how difficult.
