"Go to hell!" The bald man waved the iron rod wildly.
Xiao Yi dodged awkwardly, his shoulder burning with pain. At this moment, the young man suddenly rushed over and hugged the bald man's legs. Xiao Yi seized the opportunity and hit the bald man's wrist with a stick.
The iron rod fell to the ground with a crisp sound. The bald man finally realized that the situation was not good and turned around and ran away.
Xiao Yi didn't chase after him. He helped the young man up and said, "Thank you. My name is Xiao Yi."

Before he finished speaking, Chen Mo suddenly covered his chest and his face turned pale. Xiao Yi then noticed that his clothes were soaked with blood.
"Are you hurt?"
Chen Mo nodded weakly: "They just stabbed me..."
Xiao Yi helped him sit down and tore open his clothes to check the wound. The wound was deep and still bleeding. He remembered his ability to heal quickly and suddenly had a bold idea.
"Chen Mo, do you believe me?"
Chen Mo forced a smile: "You just saved me, why should I not believe it?"
Xiao Yi gritted his teeth and cut his palm with the knife he carried with him. Blood dripped onto Chen Mo's wound, and a miracle happened - the wound began to heal at a speed visible to the naked eye.
Chen Mo looked at this scene in shock: "This...this is..."
"I don't know what's going on." Xiao Yi said, "but it seems that my blood seems to have a special effect."
At this moment, footsteps were heard outside. Xiao Yi immediately became alert and signaled Chen Mo to be silent. They held their breath and heard someone talking.
"The noise just now came from here."
"Search! We must find that kid. The boss said we must find him alive or dead!"
Xiao Yi's heartbeat quickened. These people were obviously coming for Chen Mo. He looked at Chen Mo and asked with his mouth: "Why are they arresting you?"
Chen Mo hesitated for a moment, then pulled out a USB drive from his pocket. "Because I stole this. It contains the secrets of the Salvation Army. They... they're plotting a bigger conspiracy."
Xiao Yi took the USB drive and felt it was heavy. He knew that he had been drawn into a dangerous vortex. But now, he had no choice.
"Follow me." Xiao Yi whispered, "I know a secret passage."
They quietly slipped out of the building through the back door and into an underground tunnel. In the darkness, Xiao Yi could hear his own heartbeat and Chen Mo's heavy breathing. He didn't know what was waiting for them ahead, but one thing was certain - this disaster was far more complicated than it seemed.
The underground pipe was pitch black, with only the occasional sound of dripping water in the distance. Xiao Yi supported Chen Mo and moved forward cautiously. He could feel Chen Mo's body trembling, and it was obvious that his injuries had not yet fully recovered.
"Hold on," Xiao Yi whispered, "There's a maintenance room up ahead where we can take a break."
Chen Mo nodded, but suddenly grabbed Xiao Yi's arm: "Wait...listen."
Xiao Yi held his breath and heard footsteps and voices coming from a distance.
"They can't get far, split up and search!"
"The boss said that the USB flash drive must not fall into the hands of others."
Xiao Yi's heartbeat quickened. He pulled Chen Mo into a side passage, pressing against the cold wall. The flashlight beam swept over their heads, and the sound of footsteps grew closer.
At this moment, Xiao Yi felt his feet slip. He looked down and found a pool of dark red liquid on the ground. Following the liquid, he saw a figure curled up in the corner.
"Shh..." The figure suddenly moved, making a faint sound.
Xiao Yi hesitated for a moment, but still walked over. In the dim light, he saw that it was a woman in a white coat with a deep wound on her abdomen.
"I'm a doctor...at the hospital," the woman said with difficulty. "The Salvation Army...they're doing human experiments in the hospital..."
Xiao Yi squatted down and found a work ID card on the woman's white coat: Lin Yuxuan, attending physician of the City Central Hospital.
"What are they looking for?" Chen Mo asked.
